    Abstract: A security revolving door assembly including a revolving door, a controlling unit and a LIDAR sensor. The LIDAR sensor is appropriately disposed in the top or canopy of the revolving door and advantageously directed downwardly into the passage space of the revolving door. In particular, a first LIDAR sensor is centrally disposed in a first quadrant of the canopy, and a second LIDAR sensor is centrally disposed in a third quadrant of the canopy.
