Abstract: One or more session identifiers (IDs) are used to identify a consumer's browsing session through a network, such as an Internet browsing session for real estate information. The session ID(s) and related browsing data are stored, thereby tracking and capturing data pertaining to the consumer and/or the consumer's preferences. When the consumer views details of an item of interest (such as a home), details about the home are captured and stored, and a telephone number and telephone extension number are presented to the consumer. The telephone extension number is associated with the session ID(s). When the consumer dials the telephone number and provides the telephone extension number to make further inquiries about the home, the telephone call is directed to a call center, and an operator at the call center uses the telephone extension number as input to a lead tracking computing system that uses the telephone extension number to locate the associated session ID and to access the corresponding browsing data.
