  • Patent number: 6161832
Abstract: A stacking block game includes a plurality of game blocks stackable in layers, and an elongate sleeve comprising four planar sides defining an interior for retaining the game blocks in layers in the interior. Apertures are provided in the sides, coincide with the game block layers and are dimensioned for passing the game blocks therethrough. The game blocks have a cuboid shape and colored indicia on the faces thereof, and are inserted in the sleeve interior in layers of four game blocks. The stacking block game is played by assigning a different indicia to each player, and then each player ejecting one of the game blocks from the sleeve interior, in turn, by pressing a previously-ejected game block through one of the apertures and against a game block opposite the game block to be ejected. Generally, each player makes a note of the indicia on the uppermost face of the previously ejected game block, and then presses that game block against the indicia of a game block in the sleeve matching the noted indicia.

  • Patent number: 6022026
Abstract: A method of playing a stacking block game is disclosed. The game uses a plurality of game blocks have a generally parallelepiped shape aid generally similar dimensions. Each game block has indicia applied to at least one end thereof. The indicia include a suit and a rank. Each player receives a number of game blocks. The first player lays a first game block on its face or on its side on a playing surface. The next player has to lay a game block of the same suit or rank as the first game block on top of or optionally on the same level as the previously laid game block to thereby build a tower.

  • Patent number: 5477559
Abstract: An extensible shin guard comprises a knee pad section and a shin protector section. A tongue member extends from the knee pad section and is adapted to extend along an interior surface of the shin protector section. The tongue has a fastener for releasably attaching the knee pad section to the shin protector section, spacing the knee pad section from the shin protector section at one of a plurality of positions for extending the shin guard. A joint pad extends from the knee pad section for overlying an area between the knee pad section and the shin protector section.

  • Patent number: 5413199
Abstract: An equipment bag an outer bag having a first closable opening and having a strap presenting handles for carrying the equipment bag. The outer bag has an open top and a fastener means extending thereabout. An inner mesh sack is releasably securable within the outer bag. The inner mesh sack a top panel having a second closable opening and a plurality of side panels and a bottom panel. The plurality of side panels and bottom panels are made of a mesh material. The top panel has a complementary fastener extending thereabout for joining with the fastener for closing the open top when the inner mesh sack is within the outer bag. Equipment is storable within the inner mesh sack and the inner mesh sack is removable from the outer bag for facilitating air to pass therethrough.

  • Patent number: 5092811
Abstract: A mechanism for dolls which allows for crying, movement of the lips and swivelling of the eyeballs. The mechanism includes a control circuit and timing element which is connected to a switch placed in the mouth of the doll, a magnetic field detector placed in the proximity of the mouth, a voice apparatus, and a motor attached to a mechanism for moving the lips and eyes. The latter mechanism consists of an eccentrically mounted shaft which is attached to one end of a spring having its other end connected to a piece that ends in the shape of an arrow-head connected to the doll face in the proximity of the mouth of the doll. A pacifier inserted in the mouth of the doll, opens the switch to maintain inactive all the devices. If the pacifier is removed, the voice device is activated. A bottle having a magnetic element can be inserted into the mouth, and operates the magnetic field detector to start the motor and operate the lips and the eyes.

  • Patent number: 5030161
Abstract: A crawling doll normally in an all-fours position, having inside it a battery-operated mechanism, which, by operation of a cam-connecting rod combination, makes the doll advance on the ground and, with each rotation of the cam, temporarily extends its hands frontwards in a head-down falling attitude, at the same time as it energizes a sound mechanism that reproduces a baby's weeping, subsequently moving the arms back to the initial all-fours position in order to develop the complete cycle of the mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4941610
Abstract: A construction piece usable, in combination with other identical pieces, for forming a toy vehicle track, having interengaging slots and studs whereby a front side of one piece may be connected to the rear side of another, with slight inclination of the pieces being possible to allow for a curved track. On one face of the piece are segments of a road type tract suitable for a toy vehicle, and from the opposite face project rectangular segments which together provide rail tracks for a toy railway vehicle; this allows the track to be used with either of the two track types uppermost. The piece also has studs projecting from its ends which can engage in sockets in like pieces to form various structures. A construction set incorporating such track forming parts may also include toy vehicles having studs or sockets which can co-operate with corresponding track parts so that complex vehicles can be made.

  • Patent number: 3982762
Abstract: This invention relates to a lawn dart which has an overall weight considerably lighter than metal head lawn darts. The weight of the dart is concentrated at its front head member such that it always provides a desirable flight and trajectory. The dart is comprised mainly of two component parts namely an integral flight shaft portion and a head member mounted at the front end of the shaft. The dart is made of light-weight impact resistant plastics by moulding. The head member is a hollow shell filled with a weighting material such as sand.
