Abstract: The present disclosure provides oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) systems for small scale and world scale production of olefins. An OCM system may comprise an OCM subsystem that generates a product stream comprising C2+ compounds and non-C2+ impurities from methane and an oxidizing agent. At least one separations subsystem downstream of, and fluidically coupled to, the OCM subsystem can be used to separate the non-C2+ impurities from the C2+ compounds. A methanation subsystem downstream and fluidically coupled to the OCM subsystem can be used to react H2 with CO and/or CO2 in the non-C2+ impurities to generate methane, which can be recycled to the OCM subsystem. The OCM system can be integrated in a non-OCM system, such as a natural gas liquids system or an existing ethylene cracker.

  • Patent number: 10830960
Abstract: A sealing enclosure is configured to connect to a mating enclosure. The sealing enclosure loosely receives a connector within a connector volume so that the connector, which may be of a standard type used in electronic or optic data transmission, may be displaced within a plug face at the forward end of the connector volume. The connector may compensate variations in the position of a mating connector with respect to the mating enclosure. The sealing enclosure allows to seal off the connector volume and engage the sealing enclosure with a mating enclosure in a single motion. This is affected by having a cable seal interposed between an inner body and an outer body. If the outer body is moved forward to engage the mating connector, the cable seal is squeezed between the cable and the inner body sealing off the connector volume at the rearward end of the inner body.

  • Patent number: 10832574
Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting the availability of parking spots. A driver of a first vehicle that is parked in a parking spot inputs into a device, such as a smartphone, an estimated time of occupancy of the parking spot. This information is transmitted by the device to a server. A driver of a second vehicle may transmit to the server a request for a vacant parking spot. The server uses information, such as the estimated time of occupancy, to determine an expected wait time for the second vehicle to obtain the parking spot occupied by the first vehicle. The expected wait time is transmitted by the server to the driver of the second vehicle which can then drive to the parking spot when vacated. The server may provide driving directions to the driver to reach the vacated parking spot.

The processor may monitor and control the vehicle parameters during a vehicle rental period starting when an authorized user keylessly activates a vehicle during a defined start time. The processor may control driver behavior by limiting vehicle performance based on a predefined threshold of one or more vehicle parameters. The monitoring and control may continue until the rental period has expired or when the vehicle is returned to a predetermined geographic area designated by the vehicle owner. The processor may initiate wireless communication of the vehicle parameters to a vehicle rental administrative system through a cellular telephone located in proximity to the vehicle.
