  • Patent number: 11279240
Abstract: A vehicle electric torque vectoring system includes a traction motor, a vectoring motor, gears, and a controller. The gears transfer torque from the propulsion and vectoring motors to wheels. The controller, responsive to a step change in an unmodified torque request for the vectoring motor and a predicted torque response of the vectoring motor being greater than the unmodified torque request, commands the vectoring motor to generate torque with a modified torque request less than the unmodified torque request. The controller further, responsive to the predicted torque response becoming less than the unmodified torque request, commands the vectoring motor to generate torque with the unmodified torque request.

  • Patent number: 11279252
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed configured to automatically transport electric vehicles to charging stations and to charge the electric vehicles. A first vehicle is identified as an electric vehicle. The first vehicle is caused to be navigated to a transportable pallet having a charging cable coupled thereto. A determination is made that a charging station is available to receive the first vehicle. The pallet, with the first vehicle thereon, is transported to the available charging station. The charging cable, coupled to the pallet, is connected to a charging device and the first vehicle is charged. At least partly in response to detecting that the first vehicle has completed charging, the pallet is automatically conveyed, with the first vehicle positioned thereon, to a parking area. The first vehicle is conveyed to a parking location within the parking area.

  • Patent number: 11283593
Abstract: In general, this disclosure describes encryption engines that adaptively synchronize signals and suppress glitch propagation in a data decryption pipeline. An apparatus includes a decryption data path having a plurality of computational stages arranged in a pipeline configured to decrypt an encrypted block of data to form a decrypted block of data. One of the computational stages included in the pipeline of the decryption data path includes multiple asymmetric logical paths. A first signal traverses a first logical path and a second signal traverses a second logical path having a greater number of logical units than the first logical path. A glitch suppression register of the apparatus is configured to synchronize the first signal with respect to the second signal such that the first signal and the second signal arrive at a downstream logic element of the computational stage of the decryption data path at substantially a same time.

  • Patent number: 11282113
Abstract: Vehicle manufacturers may leverage one vehicle of a household to gain intelligence to determine whether a new vehicle may be purchased or an existing vehicle may be replaced for the household. Techniques include identifying a home geofence space that identifies the household at the household address for the vehicle. The sensor data from the vehicle can be used to identify other vehicles within the home geofence space. When other vehicles are identified that match appropriate criteria, the other vehicles may be associated with the household. Further observation of the other vehicles and the behavior of the members of the household can be used to identify when an existing vehicle of the household may be replaced and/or a new vehicle may be purchased. Upon determining that a new or replacement vehicle may be purchased, marketing materials may be provided to the household to aid the household with purchasing the new vehicle.
