Abstract: A method for manufacturing an interconnection structure for an integrated circuit is provided. The integrated circuit includes a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer, and a third insulating layer. Electrical contacts pass through the first insulating layer, and a component having an electrical contact region is located in the second insulating layer. The method includes etching a first opening in the third layer, vertically aligned with the contact region. A fourth insulating layer is deposited to fill in the opening, and a second opening is etched to the contact region by passing through the opening in the third insulating layer. A metal level is formed by filling in the second opening with a metal.

Abstract: Devices and methods may allow for the removal of material from a remote location in the vasculature. In an example of such a remote location, the device may be used in the vasculature of a lower extremity in combination with an external cuff. The external cuff may create a dam preventing material from flowing throughout the body. With the external cuff in place, the device of the present disclosure may be utilized to suction the material from the vasculature while rotating the catheter to assist in the removal of the material.

Abstract: Described are cementitious reagent materials produced from globally abundant inorganic feedstocks. Also described are methods for the manufacture of such cementitious reagent materials and forming the reagent materials as microspheroidal glassy particles. Also described are apparatuses, systems and methods for the thermochemical production of glassy cementitious reagents with spheroidal morphology. The apparatuses, systems and methods make use of an in-flight melting/quenching technology such that solid particles are flown in suspension, melted in suspension, and then quenched in suspension. The cementitious reagents can be used in concrete to substantially reduce the CO2 emission associated with cement production.
Abstract: A system and a method generate a recommendation on a mobile device. The system and the method may use a time, a location, a venue and/or an event to generate the recommendation. Further, the system and the method may use an event database to determine current interests of the user. Still further, the system and the method for generating a recommendation on a mobile device may use a transactional history of the user and/or behavior of other users to generate the recommendation. The system and the method may recommend, for example, digital media, news and event information, editorial content and/or physical or digital merchandise. As a result, the system and the method may generate a recommendation that corresponds to the current interests of the user.
Abstract: An electronic chip includes memory cells made of a phase-change material and a transistor. First and second vias extend from the transistor through an intermediate insulating layer to a same height. A first metal level including a first interconnection track in contact with the first via is located over the intermediate insulating layer. A heating element for heating the phase-change material is located on the second via, and the phase-change material is located on the heating element. A second metal level including a second interconnection track is located above the phase-change material. A third via extends from the phase-change material to the second interconnection track.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to crystalline form CS1 and CS9 of a hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor compound (I) GSK1278863, processes for preparation, and uses for preparing drugs treating and/or preventing anemia thereof.
Abstract: A device includes a printed circuit board substrate, an antenna connected to the printed circuit board substrate, an amplifier connected to the printed circuit board substrate, and a matching track having a first end electrically connected to an input of the amplifier and a second end electrically connected to an output of the antenna. The matching track has an outgrowth that is symmetrical along a median axis of the outgrowth. The matching track is rectilinear and has a constant width over an initial part extending between the widening area and the first end. A median axis of the initial part and the median axis of the outgrowth form an angle comprised between 60 and 120°.

Abstract: A physical therapy massage ball device includes an elongated tubular sleeve having a massage ball receiving cavity defined between the ends of the sleeve, at least one massage ball, and generally two to six massage balls, received within the massage ball receiving cavity, and a pair of handles extending from each end of the massage ball receiving cavity. The massage ball receiving cavity may include an opening for the user to selectively add or remove massage balls from the massage ball receiving cavity. The tubular sleeve may be formed from elastic material such as spandex and be used to form both the massage ball receiving cavity and the handles.
Abstract: The integrity of a memory is checked by: storing data representative of an operation to be executed in the memory; executing the operation; and erasing the data once the execution is complete.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system for attracting and monitoring marine life by capturing images on and around the seafloor surrounding a device of the system. The system can quantitatively measure the effectiveness of attracting and culling marine life such as but not limited to sea urchins. The attracting and the culling features can be used independently.

Abstract: The present description concerns a method that includes the compression, by a processor, of an image comprising first patterns by transforming the image into a first representation formed of two-point elements. The method also includes the execution, by a neural network, of an inference operation on the first representation to generate a second representation formed of two-point elements. The method further includes the generation of a lithographic mask based on the decompression of the second representation.

Abstract: A system and process for producing macro length carbon nanotubes is disclosed. A carbonate electrolyte including transition metal powder is provided between a nickel alloy anode and a nickel alloy cathode contained in a cell. The carbonate electrolyte is heated to a molten state. An electrical current is applied to the nickel alloy anode, nickel alloy cathode, and the molten carbonate electrolyte disposed between the anode and cathode. The resulting carbon nanotube growth is collected from the cathode of the cell.
Abstract: A modular cradle system for children's gear includes a modular cradle assembly having a hinge frame, coupling hubs extending from the hinge frame, and a child receiving receptacle connectable with the hinge frame. The modular cradle system can be detachably coupled to various gear product bases such as a rocker base, swing, highchair, bassinet, play yard or other desired product base.

Abstract: A bone fusion implant is provided for treating conditions of Proximal Interphalangeal (PIP), Distal interphalangeal (DIP), and metatarsophalangeal (MTP) foot joints. The bone fusion implant may be a cortical bone allograft sized to fuse the foot joint to be treated. A proximal portion of the implant may be pressed into a hole drilled in a proximal bone portion of the foot joint, and a distal portion of the implant may be pressed into a hole drilled in a distal bone portion of the foot joint. Ramps on the proximal and distal portions facilitate press-fitting the implant into the holes in the bone portions. Side ramps ensure that the bone fusion implant remains substantially aligned with the foot joint while the distal portion is pressed into the hole into the distal bone portion. Grooves on the ramps alleviate pressure and ease inserting the implant into the holes in the bone portions.
