  • Patent number: 6890839
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a laser annealing method and apparatus capable of performing uniform beam emission. By means of the present invention, uniform beam application to a sample can be achieved because a linear cross-sectional configuration can be created in an optical system with a beam having a Gaussian distribution while areas of strong light intensity are avoided by rotating the beam from a laser light source at a prescribed angle by means of rotating means even when the beam pattern of the beam from the laser light source has a non-uniform intensity distribution.

Abstract: A fin member is installed in an oil accumulating room. The fin member causes lubrication oil to follow rotation of the oil accumulating room so that the lubrication oil can be forcibly rotated. In this manner, a rotational speed difference between the oil accumulating room and the lubrication oil is made small, and an adequate oil supplying pressure is generated by the centrifugal force. As a result, a sufficient quantity of the lubrication oil can be supplied. Therefore, estimation of a supplying oil quantity becomes easy, and accuracy in prediction of the lubrication oil quantity actually used for the bearing lubrication can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6846258
Abstract: There is provided a planetary reduction gear 10 between a gas turbine 1 and a generator 5. The planetary reduction gear includes elastic deformation unit 12 on an output side, and for the elastic deformation unit, a strain energy within an elastic limit is set to be larger than a fluctuation torque energy of the generator of a momentary voltage drop time. The elastic deformation unit 12 includes an elastic member which elastically connects an output shaft 10a of the planetary reduction gear to an outer ring 10b. Thereby, when an excessive torque is generated in the generator by a momentary voltage drop, service interruption, and the like for a short time, it is possible to maintain the operation of a power generation facility, and secure a power supply of an important load, and an installation length is shortened and the facility can be downsized.

Abstract: An easily producible turbine nozzle for a gas turbine engine is provided, which is capable of preventing flutter of the turbine nozzle during operation of the gas turbine engine. The turbine nozzle comprises airfoils stacked along the stacking axis. The high curvature portions on suction surface in airfoil section successively formed along the stacking axis of the airfoil describe a parabola line that curves toward the pressure side of the airfoil when seen from the front or rear of the turbine nozzle. The high curvature portions on suction surface in airfoil section curve most at the center along the stacking axis of the airfoil from a straight line that connects with a first intersection between the parabola line and an inner band in the turbine nozzle and with a second intersection between the parabola line and an outer band in the turbine nozzle. The maximum curvature falls within a range from 0.02 to 0.03-fold of the stacking axis of the airfoil.
