Abstract: Systems, methods and devices are provided for real-time tracking a location an asset (e.g., package) that is in transit (rail, air, truck, etc.) and real-time monitoring of environmental conditions that the asset is subjected to during transit such as temperature, light exposure, barometric pressure, and other conditions.
Abstract: An artists' brush storage and protection device includes a storage unit having a plurality of storage compartments, each of the storage compartments including a cover with a paint well below the cover, the paint well defined in part by upstanding walls, an exterior one of the upstanding walls defining a recess with a resilient sealing member disposed therein. Each of the covers may be opened permitting access to the paint well or closed against the upstanding walls of the paint well and the sealing member. The storage unit may further include drawer slides and a palette slidable on the drawer slides relative to the storage unit to reveal or conceal the palette. When bristles of a paint brush are placed in the paint well, its handle rests upon the resilient sealing member which compresses around the handle when the cover is closed to provide a substantially air-tight seal.
Abstract: A combination for illuminating the interior of a building comprises a fixture and a retrofit kit. The fixture has a base attached to a building ceiling, the fixture having a first tombstone, and a second tombstone. The first and second tombstones are configured to receive between them a fluorescent light tube. The retrofit kit is connected to the base. The retrofit kit includes a light panel, the light panel having a first side facing the fixture and an opposite second side. The light panel resides between the first tombstone and the second tombstone, and the fixture resides above the light panel. The combination is devoid of a fluorescent light tube. The base and the light panel define between them a raceway. A light emitting diode is disposed on the second side of the light panel.
Abstract: A storage container manufactured from an injection molding process which includes a mold and at least one injector. The mold has a top surface, a bottom wall, a plurality of side surfaces, and at least two separable sections. Where the at least two separable sections are in a closed position, a cavity is formed in the mold. The at least one injector is disposed through at least one of the plurality of sidewalls and further disposed into the cavity. The storage container has a plurality of sidewalls, an upper edge, and a bottom surface. At least one of the plurality of sidewalls of the resulting storage container contains at least one sprue mark.
Abstract: Disclosed and described herein are embodiments of an articulated utility pole that facilitates repair and/or reinstallation in the event of damage to the pole caused by wind loading (e.g., storms), trees or other items striking the utility lines, collisions with the poles, and the like. Also disclosed herein are methods of repairing and/or re-installing the articulated utility pole. Further disclosed herein are components for fabricating an articulated utility pole.
Abstract: Systems and devices include an adapter which connects a pump to a water carrier. The adapter includes a port through which the pump can draw water out of the water carrier. The pump may further include a pump collar, which also includes a port, and connects to the adapter. The pump may be connected to the pump collar.
Abstract: A hydrofoiling watercraft is disclosed that includes a board having a top surface for supporting a user and a bottom surface. Extending from the top surface of the board is a handlebar.
