Abstract: An image forming apparatus has an image bearing member and a main body with an internal conveyance path for conveying a transfer material. An opening/closing member is attached to the main body and is displaceable between a closed position and an opened position where the conveyance path is exposed. A cover is set to cover a part of the image bearing member facing the conveyance path when the opening/closing member is open and is retracted from the conveyance path when the opening/closing member is closed. A moving mechanism slides the cover. Front and rear frames are held movably by the moving mechanism and are attached respectively to front and rear edges of the cover in a sliding direction. A tension applying mechanism acts on the frames to apply tension to the cover in the sliding direction during a sliding movement of the cover.

Abstract: With the damascene process in which an interconnection is formed using a conventional chemically amplified positive photoresist composition, there arises a problem that the photoresist within the via hole (as well as in its vicinity) may remain even after the exposure and the development are carried out. The present invention relates to a chemically amplified resist composition comprising, at least, a photo acid generator, a quencher and a salt having a buffering function for an acid which is generated from the acid generator by irradiation, wherein the salt having the buffering function for the acid generated from the acid generator is a salt derived from a long chain alkylbenzenesulfonic acid or a long chain alkoxybenzenesulfonic acid and an organic amine that is a basic compound.

Abstract: A vibration-isolating fixing mechanism for a fan frame. The mechanism, configured to couple the fan frame to first fastening portions of a casing, includes: coupling portions protrudingly disposed on two installation surfaces of the fan frame; positioning brackets each having second fastening portions and through-holes; resilient elements each circumferentially disposed between each coupling portion and each through-hole and extending to two through-hole-corresponding sides of each positioning bracket; and coupling elements coupled to the coupling portions respectively, positioned on one side of each resilient element facing away from the fan frame, and configured to position the positioning brackets and the fan frame relative to one another. Axial vibration isolation is achieved by insertion of the coupling portions into the through-holes circumferentially disposed with the resilient elements and by resilient contact between each resilient element and each coupling element.

  • Publication number: 20080233919
Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods that employ various mechanisms to selectively disable mobile device functionality. In general, mobile devices can be utilized to store personal and/or highly sensitive information such as bank account numbers, social security numbers, credit card numbers and the like. If the mobile device is lost or stolen, data stored within the device can be accessed by an unauthorized user; and, thus, any personal and/or highly sensitive information can be obtained. In order to mitigate unauthorized access, the subject invention provides a disabling component that communicates with the lost or stolen device to render data stored thereon inaccessible. Further, the data can be stored in local or remote locations to backup stored information, thereby creating a more robust and reliable method of storing information important to the device owner. These features provide enhancements over conventional mobile device security techniques.
