Abstract: This maintenance assistance method detects a sign of abnormality of a power storage element on the basis of measurement data pertaining to the power storage element, which is sequentially stored in a storage device, determines at least any among a work period of a maintenance work corresponding to the detected sign of abnormality, the number of workers, and an article including a replacement or a tool required for the maintenance work, and notifies the workers of the maintenance work of execution of the maintenance work corresponding to the determined item.
Abstract: A cleaning pad structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating one or more substrate layers of an absorbent nonwoven material with an optional additional fluid blocking substrate layer of polymer film or other suitable material in juxtaposed relation to the absorbent nonwoven layers. Stitching yarns are introduced in stitching relation through the substrate layers. One face of the pad defines a cleaning surface of raised yarn loops formed by the stitched yarns. The pad further includes an attachment surface facing away from the cleaning surface. The stitches of yarns across the attachment surface define an engagement surface for attachment to cooperating hooking elements across a surface of a mop head to define a hook and loop attachment system.
Abstract: The energy storage apparatus includes an energy storage device, a circuit breaker connected in series with the energy storage device, a reception unit that receives a discharge instruction to discharge remaining electric power of the energy storage device, and a management unit. The management unit executes protection processing of opening, when a state of charge of the energy storage device drops below a predetermined threshold value, the circuit breaker to protect the energy storage device from overdischarging, and protection release processing of releasing protection of the energy storage device when the discharge instruction is received by the reception unit.

The electrode assembly includes: a body including a flat portion and a pair of curved portions sandwiching the flat portion; and a plurality of tabs, each tab formed by stacking a plurality of pieces of plates with the same polarity out of the plurality of plates, and protrude as a pair from each of both end faces of the body in a winding-axis direction. At least one tab of the plurality of tabs includes a bent portion continuous with the curved portion, and a pair of extended portions extended from the bent portion and continuous with the flat portion.
Abstract: An energy storage device includes an outer case including a lid plate on which an external terminal is mounted, a plate including a tab and housed in the outer case, a conductive shaft portion penetrating the lid plate and including one end thereof connected to the external terminal, and a conductive plate portion housed in the outer case, and including a first surface to which an other end of the conductive shaft portion is connected and a second surface to which the tab is connected. A size of the conductive plate portion is set larger than a size of the external terminal in a planar direction of the lid plate.
Abstract: An optoelectronic cable comprises an optical fiber wire disposed at the center of the optoelectronic cable, with an armoring layer that is arranged at a periphery of the optical fiber wire. A plurality of electric wires is disposed around the periphery of the optical fiber wire, and an outer sheath is disposed as an outermost layer of the optoelectronic cable. By arranging the armoring layer at the periphery of the innermost optical fiber wire, optical fibers therein can be protected from being damaged by external forces. The overall assembly can also effectively reduce the total diameter, resulting in a softer and more flexible optoelectronic cable highly convenient for packaging and installation.
Abstract: A diagnostic device and method diagnoses damage to a breaker that interrupts a current of an energy storage device. The damage to the breaker is diagnosed on the basis of a short-circuit current at a time of an external short circuit. The damage to the breaker can also be diagnosed on a basis of a short-circuit current during a first time from detection to interruption of a short circuit, and a short-circuit current during a second time from the interruption to convergence of the short-circuit current. An energy storage apparatus can include the diagnostic device.
Abstract: A power control apparatus for a distributed power supply interconnected with a power system includes: a conversion circuit that performs reverse conversion of converting power supplied from the distributed power supply from direct current to alternating current and outputting the converted power; and a control device that controls the conversion circuit. The control device changes a target value of received power at a power reception point of the power system on the basis of a predicted value of a power generation amount of the distributed power supply and a predicted value of power consumption of a demand facility, and controls an output of the conversion circuit such that the received power at the power reception point becomes a target value.
Abstract: A phasing system for an internal combustion engine having a concentric camshaft includes an annular stator rotatable by the crankshaft and having inner and outer circumferences, and two groups of arcuate cavities. The first group interrupts the inner circumference. A first phaser having an output member as a hub is mounted within the stator in contact with the inner circumference and supported directly on the camshaft tube as a concentric stator bearing. The first phaser has vanes connected to the output member and extending radially into the first group to divide cavities into opposed working chambers. A second phaser comprises first and second end plates at opposite stator sides and fastened to one another to axially seal the cavities therein and, as second output member of the second phaser, connect to vanes extending axially through the second group of cavities to divide the cavities into opposed working chambers.
