Abstract: A device for detecting zone parallelity includes a detection control circuit configured to generate respective first and second requests for first and second zones among a plurality of zones included in a solid state drive (SSD). An SSD controller is configured to control the SSD by generating a first command and a second command corresponding to the first request and the second request, respectively, and to schedule the first command and the second command. The detection control circuit determines zone parallelity of the first and second zones using response characteristics of the responses of the SSD to the first request and the second request. The response characteristics may include a latency of a response.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are vertical traction systems and methods of using the vertical traction systems to treat both bones and muscles in a normal working state. In one embodiment, a vertical traction system includes a frame, a load-bearing assembly, and a spinal traction assembly. The load-bearing assembly is coupled to the frame, and is configured to move vertically and support a subject under treatment in an upright position while the load-bearing assembly moves vertically. The spinal traction assembly is coupled to the frame, and is configured to pull the cervical or lumbar spine of the subject.

Abstract: An illuminating eraser is provided. The eraser includes a body and an insert. The insert is receivable within a hollow portion of the body and includes a power source and a light emitting source. The power source is activated by applying pressure to the insert thereby causing the light emitting device to illuminate.

Abstract: A timer usable in navigating and piloting an aircraft, the timer having a plurality of application modes for management of time and numeric data, including an approach mode, a fuel mode, a chronograph mode and a clock mode. Each application mode can drive independent but simultaneous time count sequences for use in flight management and navigation such as counting down approach times, fuel-tank switching intervals and other time sensitive events, as well as providing military time, standard time and UTC time.

Abstract: An adjustable ruler includes two elongate ruler members and an adjustable clamping member. Each of the ruler members includes a longitudinal slot, outwardly facing channels along opposite sides of the slot, parallel longitudinal sides, and measuring indicia marked along the parallel longitudinal sides. The adjustable clamping member is received in each of the slots and includes first and second slide members and a selectively releasable connection between the first and second slide members. The slide members have parallel longitudinally extending flanges along opposite sides slidably secured in the channels of an associated ruler member. The releasable connection selectively permits relative pivoting of the slide members about a pivot axis, and includes a biasing member biasing the slide members apart, a threaded screw through the slide members, and a head threaded on an end of the screw to selectively secure the slide members together.
