  • Patent number: 11982696
Abstract: A system includes an orthogonal coordinate signal generator that generates an orthogonal two-phase voltage signal from a three-phase voltage signal of three-phase alternating current power of a power system; and a frequency calculator including an angular frequency calculator calculating an angular frequency of the power system based on the two-phase voltage signal, and an arithmetic unit calculating a system frequency of the power system from the angular frequency. A prediction calculator calculates a predicted value of the angular frequency after a time has elapsed based on the angular frequency and a differential of the angular frequency. In a state in which the phase jump of the power system is not detected, the frequency calculator calculates the system frequency based on the angular frequency. When the phase jump of the power system is detected, the frequency calculator calculates the system frequency based on predicted value for a constant amount of time.

  • Patent number: 11979434
Abstract: A system and a method for secure operator onboarding and creating an ingest job agent for secure multitenant operations of a distributed computing cluster are provided. Embodiments automate multitenant operations for distributed computing clusters. These operations include automation of operator onboarding, creation of logically segregated distributed data stores within the distributed computing clusters for the on-boarded operator, and creation of ingest agents with security isolation for transfer of large quantities of files into the distributed computing clusters. Embodiments provide multitenant security, in which the same Hadoop cluster serves multiple operators with each operator's data and processes in effective isolation. In this manner, multitenant security keeps each user's data storage and operations on the Hadoop cluster separated from other operators.

  • Patent number: 11973861
Abstract: A key updater for a first party operating on a network generates a mutually distilled key for communication between the first party and a second party. The key updater determines a set of verifying parties operating on the network needed to authenticate the mutually distilled key, wherein each verifying party of the set of verifying parties operates on the network. The key updater iteratively executes a key equivalency test for each verifying party in the set of verifying parties to determine a nonce sum until the key equivalency test has been executed for each of the verifying parties in the set of verifying parties or until it is determined that at least one node on the network has been compromised. The key updater generates a final key for communication between the first party and the second party based on the nonce sum and the mutually distilled key.
