  • Patent number: 11184265
Abstract: Inter-protocol interference reduction for hidden nodes may be provided. A first service end point may determine that an inter-protocol interference is present on a channel. Next, an initial packet failure count value on the channel may be determined. A transmit (Tx) power for selected packets may then be increased until a subsequent packet failure count value on the channel is less than the initial packet failure count value.

  • Patent number: 11182574
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe a system that includes a scanner that captures images of a package. The scanner processes the image to identify a destination for the package. For example, the scanner may transmit bar code data identified in the image to an inventory tracking system which issues commands to an item-sortation machine for routing the package to its destination. The images of the package captured by the scanner may include private information that is not needed or used to determine the destination of the package. To protect private information in the package, the scanner assigns an obfuscated ID to the package which the scanner, inventory tracking system, and item-sortation machine can use to pass messages corresponding to the package. After processing the image to identify the destination (e.g., data encoded in a bar code), the scanner can erase the image.

  • Patent number: 11179577
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for designing and/or modifying a radiation therapy bolus for the reduction of hot spots. A digital bolus model may be modified based on the identification of a peak in the outer surface of the digital bolus model, where the peak satisfies search criteria associated with the generation of a hot spot through scattering from the peak. The digital bolus model is modified within a region surrounding the peak to smooth the peak and thereby reduce the intensity of the hot spot. The modified digital bolus model may be employed to fabricate a bolus for use in radiation therapy. The search criteria may be evaluated according to a proximity between a location measure associated with the peak and a location measure associated with the hot spot, optionally when the location measures are projected in a reference plane that resides perpendicular to the beam axis.

  • Patent number: 11184258
Abstract: A monitoring system is disclosed that achieves the benefits of active monitoring by providing a holistic view of the network, while obtaining the granularity of a passive monitoring system by testing a large majority or all of the prefixes. In one embodiment, streaming updates of a forwarding plane are captured for devices in a network. Additionally, an initial state of the forwarding plane can be captured for each device. A time-series graph of the forwarding plane can be constructed. In the graph, each node can represent a device and each edge can represent a possible path for a prefix at a given point in time. Graph analysis techniques can be used to analyze the graph and detect errors. For example, cycle detection algorithms can be used on the forwarding plane data to detect microloops. Other techniques can be used to find black holes or capacity bottlenecks.

  • Patent number: 11184073
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided to provide for Channel State Information (CSI) feedback of hybrid beamforming. In a first example embodiment, a method for signaling a beamforming reference signal (BFRS) is provided. A resource block is created for the BFRS, the resource block containing a plurality of resource elements, each resource element defined by a time-frequency resource within one subcarrier and one multiplexing symbol. A total number of analog transmit beams for the BFRS is then determined, along with grouping information for the analog transmit beams for the BFRS. Then, the resource block, the total number of analog beams, and the grouping information are transmitted from a first network controller to a user equipment (UE). Then the BFRS is transmitted from the first network controller to the UE.

  • Patent number: 11182911
Abstract: Systems and methods can be used for ultrasound-based geometry determination for cardiac mapping. A patient can be scanned with an ultrasound while wearing body surface electrodes. While the scanning takes place, the location of the ultrasound transducer can be tracked in three-dimensional space. The electrodes can be tracked and located in the same coordinate system as the image volume. Therefore, each electrode's location can be determined relative to the acquired image volume such that corresponding geometry data is generated for the heart and the electrodes.
