  • Patent number: 11188469
Abstract: A block-based storage system may implement page cache write logging. Write requests for a data volume maintained at a storage node may be received at a storage node. A page cache for may be updated in accordance with the request. A log record describing the page cache update may be stored in a page cache write log maintained in a persistent storage device. Once the write request is performed in the page cache and recorded in a log record in the page cache write log, the write request may be acknowledged. Upon recovery from a system failure where data in the page cache is lost, log records in the page cache write log may be replayed to restore to the page cache a state of the page cache prior to the system failure.

  • Patent number: 11191045
Abstract: The present relates to a node to be integrated in a network of wirelessly connected nodes, to a network system, to method for operating a node of a network, and to a method for communicating within a network. A method is disclosed for communicating within a network of cooperatively synchronized nodes, configured to broadcast data packets to the network during broadcast phases through a flooding mechanism, each data packet comprising hop data. The method comprises, for each broadcast phase, broadcasting a data packet from a source node during a predetermined time slot; and receiving the data packet at one or more destination node during said predetermined time slot. The broadcasting and receiving are repeated according to the hop data, at respective predetermined time slots, wherein each destination node corresponds to a source node in a next execution of broadcasting and the data packet received corresponds substantially to the data packet to be broadcasted in the next repetition.

  • Patent number: 11191181
Abstract: A server assembly service determines configurations for custom assembled servers based on time-series utilization metadata for servers executing workloads similar to workloads that are to be executed on the custom assembled servers. The server assembly service determines trends in the time-series utilization metadata and compares the identified trends to associations between workload utilization trends and application classes to determine one or more application classes for applications executing the workloads. The service uses the determined application classes to select server configurations for custom servers that are to be assembled to execute workloads similar to the workloads related to the server utilization metadata. In some embodiments, the service selects custom server configurations without access to applications or application data for workloads of concern.

  • Patent number: 11189297
Abstract: A multi-channel acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) system that includes a residual echo suppressor (RES) that dynamically controls an amount of attenuation to reduce distortion of local speech during double-talk conditions. The RES determines when double-talk conditions are present based on an echo return loss enhancement (ERLE) value. When the ERLE value is above a first threshold value but below a second threshold value, the RES reduces an amount of attenuation applied while generating an RES mask to pass local speech without distortion. When the ERLE value is below the first threshold value or above the second threshold value, the RES applies full attenuation while generating the RES mask in order to suppress a residual echo signal. To further improve RES processing, the RES may apply smoothing across time, smoothing across frequencies, or apply extra echo suppression processing to further attenuate the residual echo signal.

  • Patent number: 11188060
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology provide an integrated platform that provides optimization tools that can be used across multiple lifecycle phases of an industrial automation system. In accordance with various embodiments, the integrated platform can take specified designs in a presale phase and easily open up that information in a corresponding tool to address needs in the post-sale phase to allow for all device commissioning, programming, and configuration without any importing, exporting, or recreation of presale files. Various embodiments use a common, cross-platform data file that links activity within each lifecycle phase. As such, any layouts or designs can be easily opened up within the platform by users with differing roles. Moreover, if in the post-sale phase, a control engineer decides that a specific aspect of control system was left out, the control engineer can summon the capability of the presale phase to expand the system.
