  • Patent number: 12019762
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an approach for a blockchain system in which (a) data of past transactions can be removed from the storage of network nodes based on node permissions, and (b) in which data can be made invisible to users based on user-specific or group-specific permissions. The blockchain system stores cryptographic proofs of data on an immutable ledger. The data itself is maintained within the blockchain system such that it can be partially or fully removed, while maintaining the integrity of the ledger.

  • Patent number: 12016653
Abstract: An optical coherence tomography scanning system traverses its respective scan pattern quickly, typically completing an entire two-dimensional frame faster than a conventional raster scanner completes one raster line segment. To traverse the scan pattern quickly, the system takes fewer A-scans per length of scan pattern than a conventional OCT scanner. To compensate for the sparsity of the sample points along the respective scan line segments, and for gaps between respective line segments of the trajectory, the system acquires and combines several partially overlapping frames for each study.

  • Patent number: 12020877
Abstract: A circuit interrupter has first and second contacts that are actuatable relative to each other between a closed position wherein a power source and a load are in electrical communication and an open position wherein the power source and the load are not in electrical communication. An arc extinguisher is also provided for extinguishing an arc that develops in the vicinity of the contacts. An electromagnetic coil, when energized, generates a magnetic field that permeates an area where the arc develops, the magnetic field urging the arc toward the arc extinguisher regardless of a polarity of the contacts. An auxiliary switch is operably connected to the contacts, such that upon movement of the contacts relative to each other from the closed position toward the open position, the auxiliary switch is activated so as to energize a circuit feeding power to the electromagnetic coil, thereby generating the magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 12020149
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for intelligent image sensing devices. In one example, a host interface of a sensing device receives sensor data from a host system. The sensing device stores the sensor data in response to a write command received from the host system. The sensing device also stores data from an image stream generated by an image sensor(s) included in the sensing device. An inference engine of the sensing device generates inference results using both the image stream and the sensor data as input. The sensing device stores the inference results in a non-volatile memory for access by the host system. In response to receiving a read command from the host system, the sensing device provides the inference results to the host system.

  • Patent number: 12021902
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for evaluation of communication paths through networks to determine whether communication is permitted across one or more internal network boundaries. The analysis may be used to determine whether a node in one isolated network (e.g., VPC, VPN, client on-premise network, etc.) is able to communicate with a node in another isolated network across region and/or segment boundaries. The automated analysis can allow users (e.g., network administrators) to see what high-level policies (e.g., Cloud WAN policies written in a declarative language) are interfering with or permitting communication between the nodes.

  • Patent number: 12019900
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for temperature-based memory management are described. A system may include a memory device and a host device. The host device may identify a temperature (e.g., of the memory device). The host device may determine a value for a parameter for operating the memory device—such as a timing, voltage, or frequency parameter—based on the temperature of the memory device. The host device may transmit signaling to the memory device or another component of the system based on the value of the parameter. In some cases, the host device may determine the temperature of the memory device based on an indication (e.g., provided by the memory device). In some cases, the host device may determine the temperature of the memory device based on a temperature of the host device or a temperature of another component of the system.

  • Patent number: 12019154
Abstract: A system where a large number of underwater devices can transmit their precise position relative to a fixed underwater beacon, by transmitting two short duration, precisely timed acoustic tones (pings). The arrival time of the pulses at the fixed underwater transceiver beacon will relay the transmitter's precise position relative to that beacon. The two pings code for two numbers; either the range and bearing or an X, Y coordinate of each object with respect to the beacon. Data messages can be sent to and received from the beacon, used for command, control and status. The pulses can be a single frequency and have duration of around a 1 ms and operate one or many frequencies to allow multiple cycles to be overlapped in time. This coding scheme allows many devices to send the data simultaneously in the cycle for group tracking from last position or as independent cycles for unambiguous tracking. The transducers used in the system can be omni-directional hydrophones.
