Patent number: 8220968Abstract: A mount adjustable end cap clamp lock used with an adjustable light source with one or both ends collared by a barrel-type end, which is rotatable within an end cap. The end cap has a mounting surface that works in conjunction with a fastener to secure the lighting system to an object. The clamp pad, which may extend beyond the mounting surface, is slidable relative to the end cap. When the fastener is tightened, the clamp pad slides relative to the end cap to press against the barrel to lock the barrel in angular position and secure the light source from rotating when the fastener is tightened to secure the lighting system to an object. The end cap in conjunction with the clamp pad serves a dual purpose.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2009Date of Patent: July 17, 2012Assignee: ITC Inc.Inventors: Richard Hartmann, Jr., Michael K VanDuinen

Publication number: 20070286944Abstract: Methods of making top-emitting or bottom-emitting full-color OLED flat panel using micro-cavity structure for primary colors are disclosed. The primary colors are realized by setting a different thickness for the hole injection layer of the OLEDs for each primary color, while keeping the thickness of the hole transport layer, the emission layer, the electron transport layer the same for all the OLEDs. Steps for predetermining the respective thickness of the hole injection layer for each primary color are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2006Publication date: December 13, 2007Applicant: ITC INC., LTD.Inventors: Meiso Yokoyama, Guan-Ting Chen, Wei-Chen Zhan

Publication number: 20070164663Abstract: The essential thought of this patent is that organic emission layer is utilized instead of inorganic phosphor thin film in field emission display (FED). The field emission organic light emitting diode (FEOLED) in this invention is configured with an electron multiplier (dynode) between the cathode of FED and the organic emission layer, wherein secondary electron material is coated in the holes of the dynode. The design for the organic emission layer, which includes a hole injection layer (HIL), a hole transport layer (HTL) and an emission layer (EL), is able to attain higher luminance and lower power consumption for the innovative FEOLED than conventional OLED.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2006Publication date: July 19, 2007Applicant: ITC INC., LTD.Inventor: Meiso Yokoyama

Publication number: 20050100760Abstract: A white organic EL device has an organic layer between an anode and a cathode on a substrate. The organic layer has at least a blue emitting layer, a red emitting layer, and a green emitting layer. The red emitting layer contains a blue emitting compound doped with at least one of a yellow dopant dye 14b and a red dopant dye 14c. When a voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode, each emitting layer emits blue, red, and green light respectively, therefore the white organic EL device 20 emits white light.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 22, 2004Publication date: May 12, 2005Applicants: PENTAX Corporation, ITC INC., LTDInventor: Meiso Yokoyama

Patent number: 6444601Abstract: A method for producing an Attapulgite clay (Fuller's Earth) that significantly removes other types of clays and minerals, resulting in improved performance. A unique dispersant is used that will fully disperse the individual Attapulgite particles in water such that the particles remain in suspension, and allow the non-Attapulgite clay particles to be liberated, which then can be easily separated through various techniques. The Attapulgite clay may be recovered from the dispersion and dried in such a manner to produce a finely sized powder from ore, without the need for any grinding or milling operation. The dried Attapulgite clay has a free moisture content of 2-3%. The dried Attapulgite clay with adsorbed dispersant is redispersed in water and retains thixotropic properties.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2000Date of Patent: September 3, 2002Assignee: ITC, Inc.Inventors: Robert Joseph Purcell, Jr., Dennis Clay Parker

Patent number: 6325525Abstract: An arrangement for variably mounting an illumination device in an enclosure, such as a safety sign, is provided with a longitudinal track having a longitudinal engagement portion. One or more illumination devices are provided with associated mounting feet for engaging slidably with the longitudinal engagement portion of the track. The track then is fixed onto a pair of stanchions having a respective plurality of engaging portions so that any of several heights can be achieved with respect to a base portion of the stanchion. Engagement of the mounting feet and the longitudinal track is effected by a longitudinal bent portion of the track that defines a space therewithin that accommodates the mounting feet. In addition, the longitudinal track accommodates the engagement portions of the stanchion for supporting the longitudinal track at the desired height.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1999Date of Patent: December 4, 2001Assignee: ITC, Inc.Inventor: Richard J. Patent number: 6299327Abstract: A lighting system for installation on a mounting surface employs a lighting fixture having a housing with a lamp therein, a roof, and sides. Each side is provided with an integrally formed receiver that defines a receiver aperture. A coupler has a mounting portion for coupling with a mounting surface and an engagement portion that resiliently engages with the receiver aperture. The mounting portion of the coupler mounts directly onto a mounting surface and engages with a metal bar of the type used in metal furniture, or mounts on a track that is interposed between the roof of the lighting fixture and the mounting surface. Track-mounted embodiments use a threaded fastener engaged with the coupler to exert a locking force on the inside surface of the mounting track. In a dual-mount arrangement, a fixture mounting arrangement formed of substantially planar portions offset from one another permits engagement with a track, or facilitates mounting on a surface.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 1999Date of Patent: October 9, 2001Assignee: ITC, Inc.Inventor: Richard J.
