Abstract: A method for connecting peer-to-peer applications over a wireless LAN comprises the steps of: a peer terminal extracting application information from the peer-to-peer applications; the peer terminal generating service start information from the extracted application information; during a predetermined waiting time, the peer terminal determining whether or not at least one other peer terminal corresponding to the service start information exists; and setting the terminal having the highest leader pseudo-measurement as a leader terminal and setting the other terminals as member terminals based on a leader pseudo-measurement included in the service start information and a leader pseudo-measurement received from the or each other peer terminal when at least one other peer terminal corresponding to the service start information exists. Therefore, the present invention has the effect of being able to automatically and quickly connect the peer-to-peer applications over the wireless LAN.

Abstract: A communication method in an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN environment comprises: in the event that traffic from a station targeting another station as a destination is generated in the station, negotiating with another station for directly establishing a link to a secondary wireless channel other than the basic service set (BSS) channel used for communication with an access point (AP); if the negotiation has succeeded, and the link to the secondary channel is to be directly established, switching the operating channel of the station from the BSS channel to the secondary channel; and transmitting data of the generated traffic to said other station through the secondary channel. The method enables communication between the station and the AP, and the direct establishment of links between stations using multiple channels in an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN environment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for providing mobile content which improves the quality of the advertising and promotional content service, and which also improves the efficiency of advertising and promotion. The suggested system includes: a code creating means for creating original content information and a code corresponding to content to be provided; and a terminal for storing the content and the original content information, obtaining at least one content providing means and code which enable the transmission of the corresponding content in response to a received content request message, extracting original content information corresponding to the obtained code and then broadcasting a content request message including the extracted original content information, and receiving corresponding content from at least one content providing means or at least one other terminal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a communication method in IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN environment. The communication method in a station of an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN environment according to the present invention comprises the steps of: in the event traffic targeting another station as a destination is generated in the station, negotiating with another station for directly establishing a link to a secondary channel which is a wireless channel other than the basic service set (BSS) channel used for communication with an access point (AP); if the negotiation has succeeded, and the link to the secondary channel is to be directly established, switching the operating channel of the station from the BSS channel to the secondary channel; and transmitting data of the generated traffic to said other station through the secondary channel.
