  • Patent number: 6564932
Abstract: A belt conveyor comprising an endless, fixed-width belt mounted on a pulley provided on rollers. Protrusions are formed on the back surface of the endless, fixed-width belt, and each of the protrusions has a shape comprising inwardly curved front and rear sides and tapering towards its tip end, and the pulley that is detachably mounted to each of the rollers is formed with holes, and each of the holes has a shape that fits each of the protrusions of the belt. The protrusions of the belt snugly engage with holes of the pulley, thus preventing meandering of the rotating belt.

  • Patent number: 6560880
Abstract: A versatile saw that can be used as a high-branch-pruning saw, etc., employing an annular internal toothed saw disk having internal teeth on its internal circumference. Each of a pair of openable holders support the periphery of an annular two-piece internal toothed saw disk and maintain the internal toothed saw disk in an annular form with the holders closed. An object is cut by the internal teeth by rotating the internal toothed saw disk maintained in an annular shape while being held by the holders along its periphery. The rotating internal toothed saw disk is capable of stopping at a prescribed position of the holder. Split internal toothed saw disks are held by the holders which are openable. The holders are opened to facilitate the placing of the object inside the internal toothed saw disk. In order to introduce the object inside the internal toothed saw disk, one part of the annular internal toothed saw disk can incorporate a cut section so that the saw disk can be opened at this cut section.

  • Patent number: 6550130
Abstract: In manufacturing the iron core of a divided stator, a plurality of pole pieces with fitting portions formed on both sides of pole portions are laminated and fixed to one another. A plurality of the pole piece laminates are arranged in the form of a ring and the outer or inner circumference is held with a jig. A non-magnetic and high-rigidity connecting member is press-fit in the laminating direction into fitting portions of a plurality of adjacent pole piece laminates, thereby a plurality of adjacent pole piece laminates are positioned with high accuracy and rigidly connected to one another.

  • Patent number: 6516936
Abstract: A conveyance-direction-changing device using a mechanism in which two rotational outputs caused by forward and reverse rotations of a single motor are extracted using first and second drive gears which are rotated in the same direction regardless of the rotational direction of the motor. A work-piece-conveying roller is held by a second driven gear which is rotated in an interlocked manner with the second drive gear, and the circumferential surface of the roller is set so as to be in contact with a first driven gear which is rotated in an interlocked manner with the first drive gear.

  • Patent number: 6456032
Abstract: A motor driver for drive-controlling a brushless motor being provided with a delay circuit that detects the motor pulse. When a stop signal is inputted, a transistor is activated, which in turn activates an electric brake to brake the brushless motor, while at the same time, the motor pulse detected by the motor driver is inputted to the delay circuit. After the stop signal is inputted, the motor pulse declines, which is detected by the delay circuit to activate the electromagnetic brake. The delay circuit is provided on the driver substrate for the motor driver.

  • Patent number: 6390249
Abstract: In a roller with a built-in motor, which is powered by a brushless motor and stopped by an electromagnetic brake, when an electric current is supplied to the brushless motor, an electric current is supplied at a certain voltage to the electromagnetic coil to release the electromagnetic brake. The rpm of the brushless motor is detected; and when it reaches a certain predetermined level, the supply of the electric current to the electromagnetic coil is turned off and on in a short period of time, thus maintaining the released condition of the electromagnetic brake. By turning off and on the supply of the electric current to the electromagnetic coil, the average voltage can be maintained low, and the heat generation can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6382393
Abstract: A roller conveyor that carries objects in a certain direction comprising, underneath a drive roller that is rotationally driven, transverse rollers each which has a rotation axis intersecting with the drive shaft and is raised and lowered. The transverse rollers are raised and lowered by being provided, for instance, in a lift, and they are arranged so that, when the transverse rollers are in the raised position, their peripheries come into contact with the drive roller. In this position, the uppermost edges of the transverse rollers are located higher than the uppermost edge of the drive roller, so that the transverse rollers divert objects carried on the conveyor transversely.

  • Publication number: 20020024305
Abstract: In an elevating device used in, for instance, a wheelchair, having a plurality of elevating assemblies at several positions and using compact brushless motors for driving the elevating assemblies. A run signal or a stop signal is sent to each of the brushless motors via a synchronous operation circuit. Whether a signal is a run signal or a stop signal is determined by comparing the pulse signals corresponding to rotations of the brushless motors with each other; and when the pulse signal of one brushless motor is larger than the pulse signal of another brushless motor, the brushless motor having the larger pulse signal stops.
