Patents Assigned to ITT Richter Chemie-Technik GmbH
  • Patent number: 6554576
Abstract: A pump has a housing plate having a front face and a back face, a housing can fixed to the plate and defining a chamber on the back face thereof, a bearing sleeve in the can fixed to the plate and extending rearward from the back face thereof along an axis, and a rotor shaft extending axially through the sleeve and having a front end and a rear end. Bearings support the rotor shaft in the sleeve for rotation therein about the axis. The shaft has an outer surface spaced a predetermined inner radial distance from an inside surface of the bearing sleeve. An impeller is carried on the rotor-shaft front end in a pump chamber at the front face of the housing plate. A rotor body fixed to the shaft rear end extends axially forward in the can around the bearing sleeve. The rotor body has an outer surface spaced a predetermined outer radial distance from an inside surface of the can. The inner radial distance is substantially smaller than the outer radial distance.

The rotor body defines an annular space around the bearing sleeve and is formed with at least one axially throughgoing passage open axially forward into the space and axially rearward into the can. A vane in the passage is angled for pumping liquid from inside the can axially forward into the space on rotation of the rotor about the axis.

  • Patent number: 5634486
Abstract: A coupling member between a valve driver and a valve has a pin extending into the valve driver shaft and a head with a groove receiving the shaft of the valve and a recess accommodating the packing nut thereof. A spring braced between the coupling member and the valve driver allows the coupling member to be lifted from the nut for tightening thereof.

  • Patent number: 5596238
Abstract: The invention relates to a retaining means for magnets of magnetic clutch for pump drives and has an outer rotor receiving magnets on its inner side and an inner rotor receiving magnets on its outer side, the magnets being disposed evenly around the periphery of the rotors, while disposed coaxially of both sides of the magnets are thin annular disks having a number of straps which partially engage over the magnets on the side remote from the rotor, at least one strap engaging over one magnet in each case.
