Abstract: A tactile perception system is provided. The tactile perception system includes a storage unit storing tactile data and feature information corresponding to the tactile data, a sensing unit sensing surface characteristics of an object to generate a sensing signal, an extraction unit extracting sensing information from the sensing signal generated by the sensing unit, and a matching unit extracting a piece of feature information, which is matched with the sensing information, from the feature information stored in the storage unit and extracting a piece of tactile data, which corresponds to the piece of feature information, from the tactile data stored in the storage unit.

Abstract: Nonreciprocal optical transmission devices and optical apparatuses including the nonreciprocal optical transmission devices are provided. A nonreciprocal optical transmission device includes an optical input portion, an optical output portion, and an intermediate connecting portion interposed between the optical input portion and the optical output portion, and comprising optical waveguides. Abstract: A regulator includes a switch array, a feedback circuit, first and second voltage-controlled oscillators, and a switch driver. The switch array generates an output voltage based on a number of enabled switches from among a plurality of switches. The feedback circuit generates a feedback voltage which depends on a level of the output voltage. The first voltage-controlled oscillator generates a first signal having a first frequency which depends on a difference between a reference voltage and the feedback voltage. The second voltage-controlled oscillator generates a second signal having a second frequency which depends on a difference between the feedback voltage and the reference voltage. Abstract: Proposed are a generative adversarial network-based speech bandwidth extender and extension method. A generative adversarial network-based speech bandwidth extension method, according to an embodiment, comprises the steps of: extracting feature vectors from a narrowband (NB) signal and a wideband (WB) signal of a speech; estimating the feature vector of the wideband signal from the feature vector of the narrowband signal; and learning a deep neural network classification model for discriminating the estimated feature vector of the wideband signal from the actually extracted feature vector of the wideband signal and the actually extracted feature vector of the narrowband signal.
