Abstract: A sleeve is provided for a frusto-conical beverage cup, configured to fit around the outside of the cup, thus protecting the fingers of the user from excessive temperatures in the case of a hot drink, and to provide a measure of insulation for the contents of the cup. The sleeve is an arcuate band of flexible, single-face corrugated material with curved side walls, oppositely extending slots adjacent the ends of the band and tabs lying alongside the slots, the tabs projecting only part-way across the width of the band, to facilitate the setting up of the sleeve.
Abstract: An easy access tear-open paperboard package and method of making same are provided including a pair of corrugated paperboard sheets, each having an interior surface flood coated with a cohesive material which sheets are then joined together in surrounding relation to an article such as a book contained therebetween. A strip of polyolefin tape extends across the interior surface of at least one of the corrugated paperboard sheets to provide a non-bonding area. A pair of spaced parallel perforations extend through paperboard sheet and the tape to form a tear strip which is narrower in width than the tape to provide access to the interior compartment.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for simulating movement within a multi-dimensional space by selecting and reproducing a particular one of a plurality of selectable sequences of video images subsequent to a given sequence of video images. The apparatus comprises an interactive random access video disc system for storing the sequences of video images. Video image windowing means provides as a video output only a predetermined "window" portion of each retrieved video image. The window portion of an ending image of a given retrieved sequence substantially duplicates the window portion of a starting image of a retrieved sequence reproduced immediately subsequent to the given sequence, thereby providing a relatively imperceptible transition between sequences.

Abstract: An improved tray for containing biscuits and the like, adapted to be enclosed in a protective outer bag. The container has adjacent pockets for receiving biscuits and the like, and a flap at one end which can be folded to take up a position lying against the pocket adjacent that end. The flap has a part which is complementary to the pocket so that it can lie firmly against it, and the flap additionally has a bracing border which supports the container vertically when it is stood on its one end with the flap in contact with the end pocket.
