Abstract: A handle device is provided comprising a first wing and a second wing. The first wing and the second wing are configured to pivot about a common axis to one another. The first wing has one or more first ridge, and a first one or more clearance spaces. The second wing has one or more second ridges and a second one or more clearance spaces. The one or more first ridges is configured to be received within the second one or more clearance spaces and the one or more second ridges is configured to be received within the first one or more clearance spaces when the first wing is pivoted about the common axis to the second wing in a folded configuration.

Abstract: A device and manufacturing method for a surgical navigation system, comprising a frame member having an attachment location and a rigid mounting device disposed in the attachment location. The frame member comprises an upper straight portion connected to a lower straight portion via a bent portion, wherein the lower straight portion comprises a plurality of mounts each having a top surface. A centerline extending through the rigid mounting device is level with each of the top surfaces.

Abstract: In an initial configuration a device comprises a casing containing: a plurality of beads, a rupturable first container containing one or more isocyanates and a rupturable second container containing one or more polyols, wherein in the final configuration the casing is substantially filled by a polyurethane in which the plurality of beads are embedded. In an intermediate configuration the device is transformed from the initial configuration to a final configuration by rupturing the first container and rupturing the second container so that the one or more isocyanates react with the one or more polyols in a reaction that forms the polyurethane. As the polyurethane is formed during the reaction the polyurethane surrounds the plurality of beads. The device may be molded as the polyurethane is formed in the casing.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to devices for injecting material into a body. The devices include a housing having a deployment cannula extending therefrom. The device also includes a rotary drive member wherein rotational movement of the drive member relative to the housing results in linear movement of an elongated injection member within a lumen of and out of a distal end opening of the deployment cannula. The elongated injection member includes a proximal end portion that may have a Tuohy-Huber tip and/or varying radii therealong.

Abstract: A mammography pad for use with a mammography unit for providing comfort to a patient during a mammography examination. The mammography pad includes a flexible substrate configured to overlie a bucky plate, a compressible material and a fastening means. The mammography pad is capable of covering a top and front surface of the compression plate, while the fastening means removably attaches a portion of the mammography pad to the mammography unit. Further, a method for administering a mammography examination with the mammography pad is disclosed by providing a mammography pad, securing the pad to the mammography unit, placing a patient's breast on the mammography pad, and compressing the patient's breast against the mammography pad.

Abstract: Radiation therapy skin markers used to delineate radiation therapy portal areas of a patient to be treated with radiation are described. The radiation therapy skin marker includes comprises a substrate having a first surface and a second surface. The first surface of the substrate is lined with an ink to facilitate the outlining of the treatment field. The second surface is coated with an adhesive layer which is protected by release liner.
