Abstract: An apparatus for adjustably securing a boat accessory to a boat. A first member has a plug and a second member has a socket. The plug has a rosette shape with rounded protrusions and the socket has a corresponding mating shape. Both the plug and the socket have openings for a fastener to secure the plug in the socket. The first member is one of a mounting base and an accessory base, and the second member is the other one. In one embodiment, an extension is positioned adjacent the plug so as to separate the first and second members. In another embodiment, the extension has a plug on each end and the first and second members have sockets. In another such embodiment, the extension has two members joined with a rosette-shaped plug and socket.

Abstract: An apparatus for a hydraulically locked accessory mounting device for attaching accessories to a boat, or vessel. The mounting device includes a base for attaching to the boat and a ball head that is attached to an accessory, which can be moved to a selected position and locked in that position by a hydraulic assembly. The hydraulic assembly includes a first piston moved by an operator. The first piston is in hydraulic communication with a second piston, which engages a shoe that locks the ball in position. In one embodiment, the hydraulic system includes a bleed valve connected to the channel between the first and second pistons. In one embodiment, the first piston is operated by a knob with a threaded shaft. In another embodiment, the first piston is operated by a cam on a shaft that is rotated with a lever or knob.
Abstract: An apparatus for folding a boat tower, including a hinge assembly and a releasable member. The releasable member includes two members, one of which has at least one spring loaded bolt, or locking pin, engaging a corresponding opening in the other member, thereby locking the two members in fixed relation.

Abstract: An apparatus for folding a boat tower, including a hinge assembly and a releasable footer. The hinge assembly has two members that pivot about a pivot point. At least one spring loaded bolt, or locking pin, engages a corresponding opening in one member, thereby locking the two members in fixed relation. The releasable footer has a bolt that engages an opening, thereby locking a releasable member to the footer body.
