Abstract: The invention provides a novel thermoplastic molding process useful in the manufacture of hollow, deformable thermoplastic articles such as hollow doll heads. In the process of the instant invention, a parison is formed at a first injection station and is transferred to a blow mold station. At the blow mold station, the parison is transformed into a hollow, deformable thermoplastic article through application of a vacuum and gas injection. Articles made by the process of the instant invention have a highly realistic appearance and texture.

Abstract: The invention provides a propulsion, braking and anti-rollback control assembly for use in manually propelled vehicles such as wheelchairs. In one embodiment, the invention provides a wheelchair with a control lever assembly and related force conveyance connecter that propel, brake and steer the wheelchair in a mechanically advantageous way while minimizing rollback. A seat-activated auxiliary braking system is also provided. Additionally, the invention provides a selective anti-rollback disengagement system that facilitates selective rollback.

Abstract: The instant invention relates to an animation actuator and devices employing such an animation actuator. Actuators and devices of the invention are useful in animated entertainment devices. In one embodiment of the instant invention, the actuators are used in connection with an animated greeting card.
