Abstract: Portable and flexible electrolytic machining apparatus is characterized by ease of stylus replacement and individual stylii configured to optimize the particular machining operation to be performed. The stylus, through which the electrolyte is discharged onto the workpiece, is resiliently captured in a handle and may be rotated relative thereto. In some embodiments of the invention the electrolyte discharge port in the stylus has an annular shape and is defined by inner and outer conductive members which have a common connection to the power supply of the apparatus.
