Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for tracking processing of three-dimensional (3D) files. The system receives a request to obtain a three-dimensional file from a three-dimensional file repository. The request is transmitted from a user computer to the three-dimensional file repository. The system validates a request permission associated with the request. The system also validates an intellectual property right associated with the request by transmitting an intellectual property validation request from the three-dimensional repository to an online intellectual property repository. The system processes the request after validating the request permission and the intellectual property right. The system then assigns at least one unique identifier, associated with the processing, to the three-dimensional file.
