Patents Assigned to J. Van Walraven B.V.
  • Patent number: 7611101
Abstract: A vibration isolation pipe clip for securing a pipe to a support, in particular for securing a medium-carrying pipe to a wall or ceiling of a building. The pipe clip has a substantially annular, rigid pipe clip body which is composed of one or more parts and is provided with a securing element for securing the pipe clip body to a support. A substantially annular vibration isolating member is provided, this vibration isolating member bearing against the inner circumference of the pipe clip body and ultimately being positioned between the outer circumference of the pipe and the pipe clip body. The vibration isolating member is made from a porous elastomer material, preferably vulcanized porous rubber with closed cavities and separating walls between them.

  • Patent number: 5647564
Abstract: A method for fastening a pipe to a wall in a substantially vertical position and in a shock and sound absorbing manner, comprising the steps of: fastening a generally circular pipe support body to the supporting wall, selecting the size of the support body so as to allow the pipe to be slidably surrounded by the body without being contacted by it; providing the pipe with a fixed collar and placing the pipe substantially coaxially within the support body and with a sound absorbing liner interposed between the upwardly facing edge formation of the support body and the collar, characterized by the use of a pipe support body in the form of a pipe clip of a type formed of a metal strip and that is provided--at its inner circumferential surface facing towards the pipe--with a shock and sound absorbing liner of an elastomeric material, the liner having an edge portion that engages the upwardly facing edge of the clip body strip and is integrally formed with the shock and sound absorbing liner, the latter being in th

  • Patent number: 5384936
Abstract: A pipe-clip is provided with a lining of an elastomeric material. A first flange of the pipe-clip has an outwardly opening slot for receiving a shank of a fastening screw, whereas an auxiliary flange is provided on a side of a second flange that is turned away from the first flange, the auxiliary flange having a nut for the fastening screw. The auxiliary flange having a lying against the side of the second flange that is turned away from the first flange, but may, against a spring action turn through a certain angle away from the second flange about an axis located adjacent a transition between the annular clip body and the second flange. The auxiliary flange, having the fastening nut, and the lining are formed of one piece of elastomeric material transverse slit is formed at the transition between the lining proper and the auxiliary flange through which the second flange extends.

  • Patent number: 5056196
Abstract: A pipe-clip, comprising an annular clip body formed from a flexible strip, the ends of which are provided with flanges adapted to be pulled together by means of a fastening screw and nut, in which one of the flanges has an outwardly opening slot adapted to laterally receive the shank of the fastening screw. According to the invention the nut is incorporated in an auxillary part that normally bears on that side of the second flange which is turned away from the first flange, said auxiliary part being fastened in such a way, that it may resiliently bend away from said second flange through a certain angle about an axis located adjacent the transition between the annular clip body and said flange, said second flange having a slot-shaped passage opening allowing an outward tilting movement of the fastening screw.
