    Abstract: An apparatus for dissolving oxygen in a body of water includes a housing submerged in a body of water. A chamber in the housing maintains a volume of oxygen in surface contact with the water. Oyxgen is supplied to the chamber at a rate not greater than the rate at which oxygen is absorbed by the water to prevent disturbance of the thermocline region in the body of water.
