Abstract: A lock includes a main body, a shining device, and a switch; the main body has a holding portion on one side thereof, which is formed with a through hole; the shining device is held in the holding portion of the main body, and it includes a power source, and a light emitting element; the light emitting element is held in the through hole of the holding portion of the main body such that light emitted from it will travel outside the main body; the switch is connected to the shining device for turning on/off the power for the light emitting element.

Abstract: A dual-use lock includes a toothed male member, a female member, a spindle for connecting the male member to the female member, several dials around the spindle, and an auxiliary lock; each dial has numerals thereon, and has a dish turnable together with it; the male member can separate from the spindle when the dials are turned to unlocking orientation, but it can't after the dials are turned away from the unlocking orientation; the auxiliary lock is fitted to the female member for releaseably securing the spindle to the female member, and can be operated with a key; thus, an object locked with the dual-use lock can be released even if unlocking combination of the dials has been forgotten; the tooth dishes are made such that the combination can be traced with the help of a probe after separation of the spindle from the female member.

Abstract: A combination lock includes a female member, a lock rod inserted in the female member; the female member is inserted through single dial, several actuating rings, and co-moving rings; the dial and the actuating rings are arranged side by side, and releaseably engaged with respective co-moving rings; the dial and an actuating ring adjacent thereto have a projecting portion on opposing sides while every two adjacent actuating rings have a projecting portion on opposing sides such that the co-moving rings can be turned to unlocking position where all gaps thereof oppose a trench of the female member to form a passage for the lock rod by operating the dial; orientations of the dial and the actuating rings relative to respective co-moving rings are changed for changing the unlocking combination by operating the dial after the dial and the actuating rings are disengaged from the co-moving rings.

Abstract: A mechanism of a combination lock for beginning and ending combination-changing operation includes a pressing block, which is fitted to a front end of the spindle of the combination lock and associated with a pad. The pad has posts contacting a most front one of several spring-loaded tooth dishes, which separably engage respective dials. The pressing block is pressed towards a rear end of the spindle to force the tooth dishes to disengage respective dials so that the dials can be turned relative to the tooth dishes for changing the unlocking numeral combination to a new one. When the combination changing operation is finished, the pressing block is pushed back to the original position for the tooth dishes to engage respective dials; thus, after the combination changing operation, movement of the pressing block back to the original position can't cause rotation of the dials accidentally.

Abstract: A combination lock has a keyless lock main body mounted on a housing part, a toothed rod, an engaging rod, a turnable rod and a locking rod. The toothed rod has engaging teeth, and is passed into numeral discs of the lock main body such that the toothed rod is released to be movable, and fixed in a locked position by the numeral discs. The toothed rod has a protruding plate on an outer end. The engaging rod is passed through the housing part, and has a front engaging end, and an intermediate recessed portion. The turnable rod is passed into the lock main body, and the housing part with a semicircular lower end pushing block connecting the recessed portion. The turnable rod has an intermediate portion having a flat side. The protruding plate abuts the flat side to prevent the turnable rod from turning in the locked position. In the unlocked position, the turnable rod is turned for the pushing block to move the engaging rod rearwards.
