Abstract: A method for controlling connection of a driveline within a vehicle includes detecting a deceleration and/or a brake demand while the vehicle is operating in a coasting mode and the vehicle speed is above a threshold speed, determining whether the driveline can be reconnected within a threshold time, and controlling the driveline so that the driveline is not reconnected if the driveline cannot be reconnected within the threshold time.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control system (49) for controlling a target ride height of a vehicle (1). The control system (49) is configured to set a target off-road ride height (hOFF) in dependence on one or more vehicle operating parameters. The target off-road ride height (hOFF) is set upon receipt of a driving mode signal signalling that an off-road driving mode has been selected. Aspects of the present invention also relate to a vehicle and a method of controlling a target ride height of a vehicle.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to a control system, a system and a method for providing assistance to an occupant of a vehicle. Specifically, the present invention relates to determining a composite image sequence comprising a sequence of image frames, each comprising a captured image of an environment external to the vehicle and a trajectory indicator indicative of the determined vehicle trajectory through that environment. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a control system, system and method for controlling a transition between a first driving mode and a second driving mode of a vehicle. The present disclosure relates to receiving image data of an occupant of the vehicle; quantifying one or more characteristics of the occupant's gaze based at least in part on the received image data, the one or more characteristics being indicative of the occupant's attention to a non-driving task; determining a transition profile for transitioning between the first driving mode and the second driving mode based at least in part on the one or more characteristics of the occupant's gaze; and generating and outputting a control signal to transition from the first driving mode to the second driving mode, the control signal comprising instructions for controlling one or more vehicle systems in accordance with the determined transition profile.
