Abstract: A system and method for allocating resources for an event. Data is automatically imported from one or more external data sources into an event platform. The data relates to historical data associated with the event and forecast information associated with the event. The data is filtered for relevance to the event to generate filtered data. Additional data regarding the event is captured any time before a date and time associated with the event. A forecast is generated for the event utilizing the filtered data and the additional data. The forecast is updated in response to the additional data being updated or changing. Services and resources are allocated for the event in response to the forecast.
