  • Patent number: 4172588
Abstract: A suspension damping system for motorcycles and four-wheeled vehicles includes interconnected shock absorbers. As a result of fluid transfer between the shock absorbers, the resultant of compression damping forces is applied relatively close to the vehicle center of gravity, to thereby reduce undesirable side-to-side pitching of a four-wheeled vehicle and fore-and-aft pitching of a motorcycle.
