    Abstract: A robust and simple laser guideline system provides a precisely located line image by passing a laser beam through a perpendicularly oriented transparent cylinder. The cylinder may be rotated into or out of the beam providing dual modes of line or dot image projection. A swivel mount is disclosed for use of the laser guideline system on saws or the like to demarcate the cut path.
