  • Publication number: 20050077169
Abstract: This invention relates to method for improving selectivity in liquid phase chemical reactions by flowing a reaction solution through a solution reaction column packed with particles having a multiplicity of nanometer-order pores, wherein the chemical reaction solution containing molecules to be reacted is flowed through mesopores having diameter on the order of several nanometers and length on the order of several ten nanometers, while simultaneously subjected to activating of the reaction thereof with reaction-initiating/accelerating means during the process; and a solution flow reaction system therefor.

  • Publication number: 20050002858
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of producing a CuZnAlZr oxide catalyst consisting of reacting an aqueous NaOH solution and aqueous NACO3 solution with a mixture of aqueous solutions of each nitrate of Cu, Zn, Al, and Zr, producing a precipitate by coprecipitation, aging, filtering, washing and drying this precipitate to prepare a catalyst precursor consisting of a CuZnAlZr layered double hydroxide, and then obtaining a CuZnAlZr oxide by calcining this precursor in an air ambient atmosphere, a CuZnAlZr oxide catalyst, a CuZnZrCe oxide catalyst, a CoCuZnAl oxide catalyst for producing hydrogen by oxidative steam reforming of methanol, and methods of producing hydrogen gas consisting of converting methanol to hydrogen gas by oxidative steam reforming in the presence of air and steam using these oxide catalysts.

  • Publication number: 20030135303
Abstract: A method for control of a cooperative object-transporting robot, in which a man and a robot transport a long object or a large-sized object while grasping each of the ends of the object. An angle of a hand-tip of the robot is detected by angle sensors, and based on the sensor signals, a motion instruction for a translational motion of the hand-tip in the vertical direction is output so as to keep the posture of the object horizontal.
