  • Publication number: 20040143965
Abstract: A waterproof seal feeding machine is provided to feed waterproof cylindrical seals to a fitting position on an axis of an electric wire to fit the seals onto outer peripheries of end portions of the electric wire. The waterproof seal feeding machine includes holders that open and close at the fitting position. The waterproof seal feeding machine further includes a seal cavity that receives the seal at the fitting position when the holders are closed. A passage forming member forms a feeding passage to feed the seal into the seal cavity with a posture to receive the electric wire. A lock brings the seal to a locked state in cooperation with the holders and releases the locked state after insertion of the electric wire.

  • Patent number: 6047918
Abstract: A wire spool for winding therearound a tying wire has a cylindrical wire winding body. A pair of flanges are integrally formed on both axial ends of the wire winding body. One of the flanges has formed on an outer periphery thereof a pair of notches in close proximity to each other. Between those sides which form one of the notches, that side which lies closer to the other of the notches is formed so as to expand an opening of said one of the notches. Between those sides which form the other of the notches, that side which lies farther from said one of the notches is provided with an overhung portion so as to narrow an opening of the other of the notches.

  • Patent number: 5944064
Abstract: An engaging portion in engagement with a tying material and a hook, as a twisting mechanism, are mounted on an oscillating member provided on a spindle, and the continuous linear tying material is fed in a direction crossing a spindle axis into engagement with the engaging portion to form a starting point which is folded into a U-shape. In this state, the tying material is delivered to an encompassing guide to thereby guide the tying material around articles to be tied together, while forming two wires by folding the tying material into a substantially U-shape by a feeding force. The engaging portion and the hook are integrally rotated so that a folded extreme end portion and a rear end portion on the other side of the tying material are twisted together with each other to tie articles together. Accordingly, tying can be firmly done with one winding, while forming two wires by automatically folding the continuous linear tying material in half.

  • Patent number: 5127147
Abstract: A seal mounting device for use in an electric wire processing machine that cuts and removes an insulation from an end portion of an insulated electric wire, includes an openable and closeable guide part which correctly orients a deformed electric wire and keeps it oriented for mounting a seal thereon, and a seal holder positioned opposite to the guide part for mounting a seal on the electric wire as the guide part is closed for advancing the seal until it reaches a predetermined position on the electric wire as the guide part is opened. The guide part may also comprises a strip blade portion.

  • Patent number: 4757178
Abstract: A base on a movable table is used for determining the x and y coordinates of a workpiece. The base consists of a first reference base and a second reference base, with each reference base having a reference face with grooves adapted to receive a wire to determine the location of the side of the workpiece in one coordinate direction and two reference holes having wire guiding grooves for checking the thermal expansion of the side of the workpiece. Additionally each reference base has an indicator for showing both the distance between the two reference holes and the distance between the centers of the two reference holes and the reference face.
