Abstract: A card connector has an ejecting mechanism and a locking mechanism. The ejecting mechanism has an ejecting slider slidable together with a card in card inserting and ejecting directions. The ejecting slider has an operating part. The locking mechanism has an operated part elastically deformable and a locking portion combined with the operated part. The locking portion is movable between an open position and a closed position of a card inserting/ejecting opening. When the card is inserted, the ejecting slider slides in the inserting direction to separate the operating part from the operated part so that the operated part is deformed in one direction to move the locking portion from the open position to the closed position.
