    Abstract: The invention provides a wheel-acting force measuring device free from the influences of cross talk due to brake torque (torsional torque). A hole is formed in or adjacent an axle of a vehicle at a brake caliper angle or an angle close thereto, and a stress detecting sensor is embedded at a position in the hole which coincides with the stress center axis of or adjacent the axle.
