  • Patent number: 5728407
Abstract: A die for melt-blowing apparatus, which has a die body, a nozzle piece, and a lip plate. The nozzle piece is divided into plural temperature-controlling regions in a direction crosswise to a spinning direction. A temperature sensor is used to measure the temperature at a portion surrounding a nozzle orifice in the nozzle piece in each of the divided temperature-controlling regions. A heated gas is applied directly to the nozzle piece for controlling the temperature of the portion surrounding the nozzle orifice to a predetermined temperature. Using this die body, a melt-blown non-woven fabric with a uniform distribution of the weight per unit area can be easily obtained.

  • Patent number: 4830900
Abstract: An interior material for cars comprising a web in which at least 3% by weight of a rayon fiber is contained, of which one side surface is impregnated with a binder and which has a 20% modulus of 1 to 15 kg/5 cm. width in both longitudinal direction and transverse direction, a base material laminated on the binder-impregnated surface of the web and a resin print laminated on the other side surface of the web. The interior material can be easily subjected to molding such as deep drawing since no space is generated between a base sheet and a non-woven fabric. Further, since the interior material has an excellent flame resistance, it can be suitably used as an interior material such as a ceiling material, a door trim board or a pillar garnish material.
