  • Patent number: 7328075
Abstract: In adjustment of the control parameters of a magnetic suspension system, an object of the present invention is to provide a technique for adjusting the control parameters to optimum values automatically by employing the iterative feedback tuning method, without increasing the complexity of the program, the amount of calculation and the overall size of the system, and still reducing the amount of calculation required for calculation of the safety margin (gain margin and phase margin). In a method of automatic adjustment of control parameters according to the invention, when applying the iterative feedback tuning method to a feedback control system for a magnetic suspension system, only those control parameters that have a significant effect on the control performance of the system are selectively adopted/discarded from among control parameters so that the control parameters are guided to optimum values to obtain a response waveform desired by a designer directly from input/output data of a control subject.

  • Patent number: 7326638
Abstract: An electronic circuit is formed on a semiconductor substrate and electrode pads are formed, which are formed by disposing electrode terminals of the electronic circuit through interconnections on a surface of the semiconductor substrate. After grinding a back surface of the semiconductor substrate, a first resin layer is formed on the back surface of the semiconductor substrate. Thereafter, a barrier metal layer is formed on the electrode pad by an electroless plating technique, and a solder core is formed thereon. A second resin layer is formed by printing a resin, and after exposing the solder core by grinding the second resin layer, a solder bump is formed thereon. By this method, an extra process such as masking the semiconductor substrate and subsequent removing a mask can be omitted, while forming the barrier metal layer by the electroless plating technique.

  • Publication number: 20080026693
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to improve transmission characteristics by transmitting data through multiple paths in a multihop radio network including multiple paths. In a source node 210 of (a), an encoder 212 performs communication path encoding, and a modulator 216 modulates. Unlike the prior art, however, a packetizing unit 214 designates relay paths and packetizes outputs from the encoder 212 for the respective paths, whereby signals are transmitted to multiple paths (in this case, two paths). A receiver (See (c)) of a destination node 260 demodulates the signals from the multiple paths using a demodulator 262. Thereafter, it depacketizes the packet of binary data hard-decided by a depacketizing/buffering unit 263 and then temporarily stores the depacketized pieces of data for respective paths in a buffer. A reliability data calculator 265 then diversity-combines, taking reliability data into account. A combiner/decoder 267 performs an error correction based on that combined data.
