  • Patent number: 11131069
Abstract: A trench drain section for connecting to a mating trench drain section and forming a trench drain system. The trench drain section includes a trough having sidewalls connected by a bottom wall and cooperating to define a channel. The trough further includes an open top, an open end and is connectable to another trench drain section. A pair of rails extend along the sidewalls and are secured by fasteners. Extending over the open top, a grate is supported on the rails. The drain section also includes an alignment bracket having first and second portions that are individually connectable with one of the fasteners. When one of first and second portions is connected with one of the fasteners, the other the portions of the alignment bracket extends from the trough through the open end thereof and is available for connecting to another trench drain section.

  • Patent number: 10167621
Abstract: A threshold drain for connecting to a drain system and collecting an incoming flow of water from a predetermined direction across a threshold at the installation site. The drain includes a catch pan with portions defining a pan outlet. A flange pipe is coupled to the pan outlet for the purpose of connecting the threshold drain to the drain system. A grate is received within the catch pan and includes transverse webs and longitudinal webs. The transverse webs extend parallel to one another along the width of the catch pan and are spaced above the pan bottom wall. The longitudinal webs extend parallel to one another along the length of the catch pan and are supported by the transverse webs above the pan bottom wall in a fixed orientation. The fixed orientation is inclined toward the pan side walls adjacent to the incoming flow of water.

  • Patent number: 9518389
Abstract: Embodiments include controlled flow rood drains which minimize the size of drainage piping and meet established maximum flow rates by draining built-up water from a flat roof. Embodiments are pre-set by the manufacture in terms of the diameter of the standpipe orifice, which controls maximum flow rate at a predetermined depth of water on the roof, and the height of the standpipe, which determines the depth of water on the roof. Embodiments resist alteration of the flow rate by vandals, tenants, or managers of the building, and are resistant to flow which bypasses the drain control and resistant to plugging by roof debris or snow.

  • Patent number: 8973599
Abstract: An embodiment wall hydrant includes a reservoir, conduits containing an operating rod assembly and a service rod assembly, and a fluid outlet with a hose connector. The service rod assembly allows water supply to the hydrant to be shut-off from the front of the hydrant which allows servicing of the hydrant without requiring water shut-off to all or a portion of the water supply to the building. Embodiments include a vacuum relief dual check valve assembly at the fluid outlet which prevents backflow of water into the hydrant. Embodiments include a box which protects the hydrant controls.

  • Patent number: 6360381
Abstract: This invention is a prefabricated very strong in wall support for universal fixtures mounted on a wall. Fixture support connectors or arms extend from the support and hold up the fixture. The in wall support is rigidly bolted to the floor so the support bears all the weight of the fixture and transmits the weight directly to the floor. The support is manufactured to accommodate standard fixtures. The height of the mounted fixture can be varied by moving the brackets which hold the fixture support connectors up and down. Brackets can be mounted on both the front and back of the support, thereby allowing the mounting of a fixture on both sides of a wall using a single support.

  • Patent number: 4844116
Abstract: A water hydrant specifically adapted for use in domestic and non-domestic water systems for commercial, institutional and residential use with the water hydrant including a unique valve structure incorporating ceramic components and a unique actuating structure requiring only a quarter turn of a valve operator in order to move the valve from a fully open to a fully closed position. The valve operating mechanism includes an elongated operating rod extending through a casing installed in a wall of a building and having a fitting for a garden hose. The valve structure itself includes a valve body having an arcuate slot-like structure therein to receive a projection on the valve actuator to limit the rotational movement to one-quarter turn when moving the valve components from fully open to fully closed position.
