    Abstract: A method for providing goal-based portfolio management with a server is provided. User input is received at the server. The user input includes investment goals and portfolio information. An asset allocation and investment strategy based on the received user input is automatically determined with the server by assigning the user to a target portfolio asset allocation, a glide path, and a set of specific recommendations. The glide path is dependent upon at least one of the investment goals received from the user. The glide path includes at least one shift from a first portfolio to a second portfolio different from the first portfolio as a user encounters risk exposure changes while moving towards at least one of the investment goals. The asset allocation and investment strategy are provided from the server to a user interface of the user.

At a client computer, a search topic associated with the category arrives from a user along with user-profile data like demographic, geographic, and situational data. A server locates at information locations some related products within the category, each having the pre-determined set of product attributes having associated content. For each product attribute, the content associated therewith in one of the located products is compared against content associated with the product attribute in each other located product and is assigned a relative score based on the comparison. The shared set of product attributes is prioritized based in part upon relevance of a product attribute to user profile data and the located products are ranked based on the prioritizing and the score of content associated with the product attributes.

    Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for locating a relevant product via a computer network includes receiving, at a client terminal, a search topic from a user and one or more attributes associated with the topic and assigning a rating to at least one of the attributes. A server is used to locate, at one or more information locations, at least two separate instances of the topic and at least two information fields, each field related to one of the instances the topic. Content in each of at least two of the information fields is associated with at least one of the attributes and the content in each of the at least two information fields associated with an attribute is compared against each other. A score to the content of each compared instance of content is assigned based on the comparing. The attributes are prioritized and the located instances of the topic are ranked based on the prioritizing and the score of content associated with the topic.
