Abstract: The present invention relates to a functional chair with massage balls that is capable of allowing the massage balls to protrude outwardly therefrom through the manipulation of armrests to massage a user's muscles around the back and spine, thereby permitting the user's fatigue due to long sitting hours to be relieved. The functional chair includes: a seat; a seat support adapted to support the seat; a backrest having a plurality of massage holes formed penetratedly thereon; a backrest support having an inside partition extended from edges of an open surface; a pair of massage parts having the massage balls protruding from the massage holes or inserted into the massage holes; a pair of armrests adapted to rotate the massage parts; a seat connector adapted to fix the seat and the backrest thereto; and a stopper adapted to control rotation of the massage parts.

Abstract: Disclosed is a functional chair having acupressure balls. The chair includes a chair seat; a back of a chair coupled to one side of the chair seat; a pair of acupressure plate rotary shafts which is parallel to a vertical axis at a position ambilaterally spaced at predetermined distance from the center of rear surface of the back of the chair; a pair of acupressure plates which rotate around the rotary shaft of the respective acupressure plates; and a pair of armrests fixed to one side of the respective acupressure plates, and extended to the front of the back of the chair. A plurality of operating holes is formed on the front of the back of chair. A sleeve for covering the acupressure plate rotary shaft is positioned along a lengthwise direction on the respective acupressure plates and the acupressure rotary shaft penetrates the respective acupressure plates.

Abstract: The functional chair includes a backrest support, a backrest, a rotation axis, two rotation plates, an operation rod, a massage roller, and an armrest. The backrest is fixed to the backrest support and has a plurality of operation holes perforated at both sides of the front surface in a zigzag pattern, the rotation axis is fixed to a center of the rear surface of the backrest. The two rotation plates have multiple finger-like extensions formed at horizontally the same location as the operation holes and face while not interfering with each other so as to allow each of the finger-like extensions to rotate on the rotation axis through a rotation sleeve. The operation rod is fixed to the opposite side of each finger-like extension on each of the rotation sleeves and emerges to the front direction of the backrest through each operation hole when each rotation plate rotates.
