    Abstract: In the production of a structural element such as a door or a panel forming part of the surround of a swimming pool, a rigid framework is placed on an upwardly presented surface of a mould. The mould is then closed and a foamed plastics material is injected into the mould cavity part of the periphery of which is defined by the framework which becomes an integral part of the moulded product.
