    Abstract: An improved hitch actuator for a gooseneck trailer includes a cam assembly mounted on the hitch receiver, a pivotal lever on the trailer, and a cable extending between the cam assembly and the lever. When the lever is pivoted, the cam assembly is moved via the cable so as to control the movement of the hitch latch between latched and unlatched positions and controls movement of the hitch pin between locked and unlocked positions.
