  • Patent number: 9864210
Abstract: An elastic eyeglass temple includes: a main body; one or more holes which are formed in one predetermined section or respectively in plural predetermined sections of the main body and which, if plural, can be spaced apart or in communication with one another; and one or more flexible members which correspond in configuration to the hole or respectively to the plural holes, which are fitted in the hole or respectively in the plural holes, and which lie compliantly along the main body, such that the one or more flexible members form a single unit with the main body. Once pivotally connected to the corresponding lateral end of an eyeglass frame, the eyeglass temple can stay elastic and provide an elastic contact with a lateral side of the user's head even after it has been pulled outward repeatedly for some time.

  • Patent number: 9326893
Abstract: A goggle structure includes a protective soft pad, a frame, and a subsidiary lens frame. Convex portions are formed on upper and lower sides of the subsidiary lens frame and inserted into slots disposed at the frame, respectively. Hook portions are formed on upper and lower sides of the frame and extend backward. By inserting the frame into a receiving space disposed at the protective soft pad, the hook portions press against the periphery of the receiving space. Pressing portions and carrying portions are formed on upper and lower portions at the middle segment of the frame and adapted to hold the protective soft pad. The bottom of the subsidiary lens frame straddles the pressing portions and carrying portions. Branch portions extend from two outer sides of the frame to press against a concave portion of the protective soft pad. Hence, related components are engaged with each other.

  • Patent number: 8820920
Abstract: The present invention provides an eyeglass frame securement apparatus comprising an eyeglass frame with upper and lower frames for eyeglasses to be mounted thereon, two outer sides of said upper and lower frames attached to eyeglass temples, a protection strip frame locked into inner circumference of said eyeglass frame; protruding pins extending forward and rearward from a center of the lower frame pivotally attached to the upper frame; a rib extending from outer sides of the upper frame and inserted into grooves to restrict the eyeglasses; protrusions on upper end of supporting shaft of the eyeglass temples inserted into the spaces on the outer side of said lower fame. Therefore, once the upper frame is completely assembled, said eyeglass temples can be outwardly bent to allow said protrusions on the upper end thereof to extend outward from the horizontal hole of the upper frame to restrict said eyeglass temples directionally.

  • Patent number: 8070287
Abstract: A collapsible eyeglass structure includes a frame bilaterally provided with two temples. The frame has two ends, each having an inner side formed with a through hole. Each through hole has an entrance end with a beveled rim and an opposite end connected to an inwardly expanding receiving space. Each receiving space has a predetermined shape and an upper wall formed with plural teeth. Each temple has a pivotal connecting portion outwardly extended with a post. Each post has a convex tip and is notched so as to be pushed resiliently into the corresponding through hole of the frame. Each post further has an upper periphery formed with a tooth. When the posts are pushed into the receiving spaces in the frame respectively, the tooth of each post meshes with the corresponding teeth in the corresponding receiving space to allow angular adjustment or downward collapse of the temples.

  • Patent number: 7882575
Abstract: A protective goggle assembly has a goggle frame having a rigid goggle body formed on a front side. The goggle body has recesses formed on two sides of a lower end so that a resilient face engaging portion is integrally formed with a rear side of the goggle frame. The resilient face engaging portion includes edges on two sides of a lower end, which edges are formed with a curved shape based on a human face contour. When the goggle frame and the lens are assembled with a strap buckled to the two sides for use and with the resilient face engaging portion on the rear side of the goggle frame in contact with a user's face and cheekbones, the recesses formed on the two sides of the lower end of the rigid goggle body provide the resilient face engaging portion with a larger space for flexible adjustment.

  • Patent number: 7725959
Abstract: Protective goggles have an integrally formed lens, a frame and a strap. The lens has an opening formed on an upper side for engaging with an engaging portion on an upper side of a frame with a soft protective pad and has a protrusion extending upwardly from a middle section of a lower side to be inserted into a hole adjacent to a concave section formed on a lower side of the frame. More than one rib is provided on an upper side of the frame for fitting with the lens and for stably propping the lens. A through hole is provided on each end of the frame and has raised portions projected therearound for passing through a through hole of the lens. A tenon is formed adjacent each through hole of the fence for passing through an aperture of the lens. The lens and the frame are coupled by buckles combined with both ends of the strap.

  • Patent number: 7585072
Abstract: An improved structure of a nose pad for eyeglasses is provided. The nose pad, installed at a middle section of an eyeglass frame, has an upper section extended with an engaging portion inwardly formed with a recess for snap-fitting on a protuberance formed on a bridge at the middle section of the eyeglass frame. The engaging portion is outwardly formed with a protruding area for inserting into a hole of a fastener so that a hook portion extending inwardly from an upper section of the fastener can engage with an inner surface of the bridge while two jutting portions extending from a lower section of the fastener can insert into grooves of the nose pad. Additionally, two pad portions of the nose pad can couple with projections on an inner surface of the eyeglass frame. Thus, the nose pad can be positioned properly with respect to the eyeglass frame.
