    Abstract: A multi-use landscape light fixture is provided. The landscape light fixture includes a main housing, a lens assembly, a light source mount assembly and a base. The main housing has an upper flanged opening and a lower flanged opening. The upper opening is used for mounting a lens or the like using the lens ring. The lower opening has a flange used for mounting the base. The base has an upper portion that is inserted into the bottom opening of the main housing and a lower flanged bulkhead that mates with the flange of the main housing. Once mated, the flanged bulkhead forms a watertight seal with the lower flange of the main housing. The base includes power and signal connectors and separate compartments for ballast circuitry and junctions. The landscape light fixture may be mounted above, below or at any level in between grade.

The outer ring has a flange at one end and a threaded female portion on an interior surface. The middle ring has a flange at one end and a threaded male portion on an exterior surface. When the outer ring is mated to the middle ring, the male portion is threaded into the female portion. The inner ring has a plurality of grooves on an exterior surface. The threaded male portion of the middle ring includes a plurality of openings for receiving a plurality of securing members, with each of the plurality of securing members capable of moving in each of the plurality of grooves and capable of securing the middle ring to the inner ring.

    Abstract: An illuminated garment holder includes at least one support member having a free end which is adapted to be secured to a wall or ceiling. The opposite end includes a connecting joint on which an elongated light fixture is rotatably mounted in a generally horizontal position. The light fixture includes a fluorescent bulb or the like, and a translucent lens through which light from the bulb is transmitted to the exterior of the fixture. The fixture can be rotated to any of the number of positions and locked in place to direct the light as desired. The fixture is dimensioned to support clothing hangers for garment displays.

    Abstract: The lighting fixture which comprises an elongated housing having a top wall and a bottom wall. The width of the top wall is greater than the width of the bottom wall, which has a free edge located below the top wall providing an opening for the emission of light from at least one light bulb mounted in the housing and projecting beyond the free edge of the bottom wall. A reflector is mounted in the housing and has a reflector wall located between the top wall and the at least one bulb. The reflector has a plurality of air vents formed in it and the top wall of the housing also has a plurality of vents formed therein, offset from the air vents in the reflector wall, whereby air below the reflector wall heated by the bulb flows through the air vents in the reflector, and out the air vents in the top wall, but the emission of light through the top wall is blocked.

    Abstract: A high mast lighting system includes an elongated vertical mast having upper and lower ends, an annular lamp support ring surrounding the mast and having a plurality of lamps removably mounted thereon, a mechanism for raising and lowering the ring along the mast between the upper and lower ends, and a centering device for centering the ring on the mast when moved by the moving mechanism between the upper and lower positions. The centering device includes a plurality of resilient members equally spaced around the inner circumference of the ring and paired with a plurality of contact members. Each resilient member is secured to two locations on the inner circumference of the ring and spans the inner circumference of the ring so as to form a substantially linear chord when the ring is centered on the mast. Each contact member resiliently contacts the mast with a centering force.

    Abstract: A device for electrically connecting two modular light units respectively having free ends which include male and female double insulated connector plug means for electrically connecting the units together. The connector plug body includes a pair of laterally extending arms rearward of the connector portion. A removable cover is associated with each of the ends of the modular light units and at least two of the covers are associated with each of the connector plates. Those covers have removable knockout portions formed therein configured to define an opening in the cover generally complementary to the periphery of the body of the connector plug for receiving the body. The body is removably secured to its associated cover.

    Abstract: An air disinfection method and unit are disclosed in which air is passed through a housing from an air inlet to an air outlet opening at a predetermined air flow rate under substantially uniform cross-sectional air flow conditions across closely spaced UV-C irradiation lamps located at a distance of between 2 to 4 inches O. C. with the lamps being positioned directly in the air stream so that all air flows passed the bulbs at a distance of not more than 2-3 inches. The bulbs produce UV-C irradiation at a wave length of about 254 nm and have an intensity of about 142 .mu.W/cm.sup.2. The housing has a predetermined volume selected such that airborne bacteria remain in the enclosure for a residence time of between 0.5 and 1.5 seconds.
