Abstract: A step assembly for use on a vehicle comprises an elongate step support member, at least one mounting bracket and at least one brace. The support member defines a top side having a substantially flat surface. The at least one mounting bracket has a base and a pair of arms extending therefrom. The base is constructed and arranged to engage a portion of a vehicle. The at least one brace comprises a first end region and a second end region. The first end region is adjustably and removably engaged to the elongate step support member. The second end region is adjustably and removably engaged to the pair of arms of the at least one mounting bracket.
