Patent number: 9068457Abstract: The invention relates to a double-flow screw spindle machine for drive generation by multiphase mixtures or for the delivery of multiphase mixtures, comprising at least two separate inlet chambers (11, 12) and an outlet chamber (20), and a separator (30), situated upstream of the inlet chambers (11, 12), for separating liquid phase and gas phase. The object of the present invention is to provide a dual-flow screw spindle machine which is easily adaptable to changed process conditions. This object is achieved by virtue of the fact that both inlet chambers (11, 12) are connected to the separator (30) by separate lines (31, 32; 33) for the gas phase and the liquid phase.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2012Date of Patent: June 30, 2015Assignee: Joh. Patent number: 7862315Abstract: A screw displacement pump is provided. The screw displacement pump is of single-entry, double-shaft construction with an external bearing of the two screw shafts. A pump housing encloses the screw shafts by forming feed chambers and externally delimiting the feed chambers with its internal shell surface, as well as a suction chamber for the medium to be induced and a pressure chamber to accommodate the medium pumped by the screw shafts. The pump housing is inserted into a pressure housing and attached to the pressure housing, so that the pressure chamber encloses the pump, at least in part.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2006Date of Patent: January 4, 2011Assignee: Joh.Heinr.Bornemann GmbHInventors: Gerhard Rohlfing, Axel Jaeschke, Jens-Uwe Brandt

Patent number: 7810572Abstract: The object of the invention is to improve delivery of the multi-phase mixture, in particular hydrocarbons from a well, and to limit the free gas volume. According to the invention, this object is attained in that a partial liquid flow (13) is split off on the pressure side from the main delivery flow and guided to the high-pressure side of at least one ejector pump (2) arranged on the suction side as an auxiliary delivery device. The pump installation provides a feed line (7) connecting the pressure chamber of the displacement pump (1) with the high-pressure side of at least one ejector pump (2), whereby the ejector pump (2) is arranged on the suction side in the delivery direction of the displacement pump (1).Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2004Date of Patent: October 12, 2010Assignee: Joh. Heinr. Bornemann GmbHInventors: Jens Uwe Brandt, Gerhard Rohlfing, Dietrich Mueller-Link

Patent number: 6332271Abstract: A method for making rotors for screw-type machines with a plunge-cut turning method in which an approximately rectangular groove is formed approximately at a center of a work piece with trilateral machining, a groove is cut radially deeper by trilateral machining until a predetermined groove depth has been reached, the profile flanks are shaped by bilateral machining, and the groove depth is increased with a recessing tool.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2000Date of Patent: December 25, 2001Assignee: Joh. Patent number: 6129533Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid-conveying machine, in particular, a pump having a component rotating in a stationary housing part inside an annular gap. The stationary housing part separates an interior having a higher product pressure from an exterior having a lower pressure. A rotating component is mounted in an external bearing which is sealed with respect to the interior via a sealing system. In order to improve the sealing, the invention provides that the annular gap is formed between two sliding bearing shells which comprise extremely hard, wear-resistant materials and, in accordance with the operating principle of a radial sliding bearing, form a first pressure-reducing stage. A feedback device, which feeds back the leakage from this first sealing stage into the conveying process of the machine, is connected downstream of the first pressure-reducing stage. A second sealing stage is arranged axially downstream of the feedback device.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 1999Date of Patent: October 10, 2000Assignee: Joh. Heinr.
