Patents Assigned to Joh. Winklhofer & Sohne
  • Patent number: 5971135
Abstract: A conveyor apparatus having a conveyor chain and at least one supporting arm used for attaching thereto objects which are to be conveyed. The supporting arm has one of its ends connected to the conveyor chain via an overload protection means. The overload protection means has a tilting joint which is provided between the supporting arm and the conveyor chain and permitting reversible tilting of the supporting arm relative to the conveyor chain in response to a predetermined load. In the structural design of the conveyor apparatus the tilting joint is acted upon by a helical tension spring.

  • Patent number: 5562198
Abstract: In a hollow bolt link chain of a conveyor device, in which at least one adapter is provided for affixing a carrier of the chain, which is detachably secured in a hollow bolt with an adapter foot, the adapter foot comprises at its insertion end at least one locking element adjustable in elastically resetting fashion between a holding position and a pull-out position, which engages behind a counter-catch at the hollow bolt at least in positive locking fashion in the holding position. At least one locking element adjustable in elastically resetting fashion from a holding position spread away from the longitudinal axis of the adapter foot in the direction towards the longitudinal axis is disposed at the insertion end of the adapter foot in an adapter for the detachable fastening of a carrier to a hollow bolt link chain of a conveyor device.

  • Patent number: 5549194
Abstract: In an accumulating conveyor chain, which is composed of a link chain with alternating inner and outer link plates coupled via hollow or solid hinge bolts, in which the sleeves are fixed in the inner link plates and the hinge bolts rotatably traversing the sleeves are fixed in the outer link plates, and in which large-diameter conveyor rollers are mounted on sleeves predetermined along the chain length and smaller rollers are mounted at both sides on hinge bolts extended outwardly beyond their sleeves, the hinge bolts are formed in sleeves free from conveyor rollers in unextended fashion and free from rollers. The conveyor chain consists of few parts, can shift during operation and can be used universally with chain wheels for normal link chains or oblong-element chains.

  • Patent number: 4713043
Abstract: In a chain tensioner (116) having a piston (120) displaceable in a guide housing (118) along its axis (134) and having a tensioner bar (124) articulated to the guide housing (118) with pressure of the piston head (122) upon the tensioner bar (124), in one of the two parts, piston head and tensioner bar, a guide groove (140) extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tensioner bar is provided in which there engages a guide protuberance (piston head 122 flattened off on both sides) formed in each case on the other part. This results firstly in a securing of the tensioner bar against lateral pivoting and nextly in a securing of the piston against rotation.
