Abstract: An astronomical clock shows on a moon disc diametrically opposed images of the sun and the moon or, respectively, two moons which during twenty four hours appear alternately in a semicircular opening and travel through it. Approximate images of the moon phases are rendered with daily advanced moon phase discs which are attached off-center in a rotating fashion on the moon disc.
